Grease, I haven't seen it since I was about 13 and my perspective of it is completely changed.
Sandy and Danny are fairly unpleasant and poor Rizzo, when I was 13 I thought she was such a *****. The lyrics to the songs are also not appropriate for the 6 year old I was looking after. Having a 6 year old belting out the soundtrack doesn't make the movie move any faster.

Just watched 'Predators' and I have to say that I am disappointed. It is leaps and bounds better than both AVP movies but it could have been much better. Seriously? One of the best creatures in sci-fi history and all I get is a bunch of ********** running around in the jungle? I was less than impressed with everything in this movie after the handful of good actors they wrangled.

Agreed, I don't like over the top embarrassing comedy and I'm not a Steve Carell fan. It did have it's moments though.

Micmacs, a dark comedy about internatial arms dealers, from the same director of Delicatessen, Amelie and The City of Lost Children, it has the same idiosyncratic marriage of caricature and realism and the same oddly optimistic fatalism. A bit schmalzy towards the end, but I have to admit I got caught up in it I loved it.

I kind of want to see Micmacs but Jeunet is hit and miss for me. It is less twee than Amelie, the detached observer quality is less tangible, but is still there, and the character does the same internal listing thing, just a lot less frequently.
it reminded me a little of the early Luc Besson film, Subway. The schmalz is the commentary on war and even that is diffused a little as the story unfolds.
Not that I want to influence you in anyway but 2 words, love interest and 2 more words lady contortionist, just saying
Four Lions looks like it puts the fun in Fundemental
but the poor crow eta also the people.
