What is the best argument for an atheist?

So do you disagree with religion or do you use religion to deny god all together?

Because from my understanding you (whomever) can’t really do much to study a religion if you take god out of it, only criticize it.
Also, just because a land was considered holy during one particular point in time doesn’t mean it is still holy today, especially if it has been caught up in the middle of war, violence, crime, etc. I think if there was once anything holy about a place like that then it is dead and gone. Unless people actually change the way they live and give new meaning to a place like that for it to be considered holy again.
Thank you for that lovely sermon. did you come to preach or debate? I've answered your OP, if you cannot apply critical thought to my words instead of giving me this self righteous sermon, there's not much more I can do to help you.

But you do realize the same goes for theist right? Your theistic view is amplified by your bias approach. If you are Christian you will in no doubt attack the validity of Muhammed as being a prophet and the Quran as a legitamate scripture or calling into question, because of you bias, any claims made by the Hindus etc. Muslims and Jews, because of their bias, do the same thing...so you are hardly in the position to point fingers at Atheist for acking for evidence of religious claims.
You don’t have to be an atheist to understand a religion and some of its flaws. There are a lot of people such as Christians that struggle with their faith everyday just like everyone else. That is what religion is about anyways, find a deeper understanding. If it isn’t then I don’t know why people would waste their time following or dedicating their time to it.

There are a few definitions for a debate, which one do you want to go by?
Debate - to talk about something at length and in detail, especially as part of a formal exchange of opinion
Debate - argument or prolonged discussion
Debate - to ponder something carefully

Let me point you to the simple fact that you antagonize anyone who does not share your belief in God, instead of accepting their opinion and evaluating it.

What is the best argument for an atheist?

Usually the first thing and only thing that comes to mind is prove it! Prove god exist!

Is that the only argument atheists have or is there something better? When I see this argument I see an argument that isn’t very well thought out or designed. Since an atheist has no grounds of belief to stand is it normal for them to criticize other people’s religion to buff up their own lack of philosophical views and beliefs?

Also if you can think of some other atheist arguments go ahead and add them to this thread. I would like to see some other out of the ordinary arguments made by atheist.

The strongest argument for Atheism is emotional and physical pain. That if God truly existed 'physical evil' such as killer storms, earthquakes, etc., would not exist. Our loved ones would never get sick and die. No one would get killed and eaten by any animal or reptile. Spiders and snakes, and Komodo dragons would not catch, kill, and eat their prey like they do. Theses things are horrible to us humans. Therefore, since these things exist, and people seem to die and/or be injured so randomly, God does not exist.

This is not my belief, but the Atheistic belief.

That is not "the Atheistic" belief.
I'm not an atheist because I see pain & evil in the world.
I'm an atheist because of what I don't see, ie, evidence of gods.

Well my beliefs system goes like this. I once believed, it was lost, I turned to some type of paganism and constellation foresights, studied Abrahamic religions then devoted the rest of my time to, I will just say “exploring”.

Who cares.

This is what I love about all religious forums. "Seeking". Finding knowledge.

Let me enlighten you. You are an eating, breathing, crapping, sexing human being just like the rest of us. Believing in religion x makes you no better than person y.

Mystery solved. The cells in your body will eventually stop reproducing at a rate to maintain the whole organism that is you. You will die.

"All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us". Whether or not you choose to grant the time given to a deity or not is irrelevant. What you choose to do with it is all that matters.

Spend your time "exploring". Just ask me. I'll save you the time. I'm a raised Baptist, converted Buddhist, short time Alcoholics Anonymous and now Don't Give A ****ist. I'll educate you in a timely manner about the ways of the world. Spare you the complete waste of time.

It's very obvious you don't see it.
Why?
You have a set definition of God and evidence that you refuse to change.
Why is that?

You have a definition of "God" that does not require evidence. The only criteria is faith yet you are an unbeliever of other gods that seem to possess the exact same evidence for their validity as yours. When we say (evidence)..we mean that which can be tested and falsified.

This is a conclusion based on your set definitions.

Easy.
A unicorn is a mammal that looks much like a horse, but has a horn sticking out from its forehead.
Unicorns do not exist, correct? Therefore I have defined something that does not exist.

yes but do have a relationship with a unicorn?
does the unicorn talk to you?
and do you believe the unicorn loves you?
