So did you want to talk about the movie or what?
I'll let the movie speak for itself, however there is one thing I would like to say.

Jesus was scourged all over his body, both front and back. I'm sure there were VERY few areas that were NOT touced by this horrible Roman scourging, which nearly killed him, if they had not stopped after 39 stripes/whips (13 whips, three marks each time). this was evident from the images burned into the burial cloth of Jesus Christ (Shroud of Turin), which covered his whole body, top to bottom, front and back. The scourge marks and other wounds burned into his burial cloth (front and back), at the time of his resurrection, showing all the various wounds from head to toe.

Jesus was tied to the Roman whipping post nearly or completely naked and scourged from the NECK to the ANKLES, both FRONT and BACK. Hardly any area of his body was not touched by this Roman scourging.

Mel Gibson was the first film producer to depict this correctly.

Isaiah 52: 14
44 As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:
45 So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him, for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.

3 Nephi 20
44 As many were astonished at thee—his visage was so marred, more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men—
45 So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him, for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.

Jesus was scourged 13 times (times 3) 39 times. Under Jewish law people were not allowed to be scourged more than 40 times. No more than 40 "stripes" allowed.

Isaiah 53: 5
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Mosiah 14: 5
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

1 Peter 2: 24
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Full movie on youtube? I'm sure this is piracy, something Jesus frowns upon no doubt.
Any movie or music that shouldn't be on Youtube is either automatically blocked or eventually REMOVED from Youtube...there are AUTOMATIC blocks on certain movies and music and whatever gets by that will be eventually be removed if the original producer objects.

Jesus (the Lord) owns it all anyway and will do with it (The Passion of the Christ movie) what he will.

have not seen the movie, however did a lot of research over the years in early christianity and read many books on jesus historical and otherwise. mel gibson did what he could in directing and producing the movie. hopefully it will encourage accurate portrayal of an event that many may still question.
at some point i would like to see the movie and report back my impressions and comments. thank you for this opportunity to discuss and comment.

Why would you use a hoax like the Shroud of Turin to substantiate your point?

Oops.... DIR.

I also want to comment on the actress who played Mary Magdalene in "The Passion of the Christ". She looks exactly like the REAL Mary Magdalene.

I've seen two images, from the spirit world, in my lifetime, one image was of a male demon, in his aweful and FALLEN state, (yet had a perfect/beautiful face) and the other image was of Mary Magdalene, in her glorious and EXALTED state, also having a perfect and beautiful face, yet the difference of the two images was; one image (the demon) was experiencing COMPLETE misery (which I felt shoot through me like lightning); and the other image (Mary Magdalene) was experiencing COMPLETE bliss, joy and happiness, (which I also felt shoot through me like lightning, no longer than a blink of an eye did the images and feelings come and go.

Perfect/complete misery and perfect/complete bliss, I've felt them both, but just for a fraction of a second.

Skip to 1:03 to 1:05 and watch this scene where Mary Magdalene flashes back to her first encounter with Jesus Christ and watch this scene.

From about 1:04:40 to 1:05:00 seconds (freeze frame around 1:04:48) is the image I saw flash before my face, May of 2007 (in the spirit), of Mary Magdalene looking up at Jesus, but in her exalted, glorious, joyful state. She looked JUST like this image/actress looks in this scene/movie. That's how I saw Mary, looking up at Jesus (whom I did not see), but I knew she was looking up at and worshipping Jesus. When I later first saw this scene in "The Passion of the Christ" It recomfirmed what I had seen in the spirit and the spirit once again testified to me what I had seen with my spirit eyes in the spirit world.

Also a few weeks later after seeing Mary Magdalene looking up at and worshipping Jesus, in the spirit, the next Ensign (LDS church magazine) issue was released with Mary Magdalene worshipping Jesus on the front cover, further confirming what I had seen in the spirit.

June 2007

Mark 16: 9
Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.

Luke 8: 2
And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils,

I don't know. Couldn't the Lord have done a lot better?
Yes, but we're living in a limited, physical world, where NOTHING is perfect. We're all subject to the flaws and evils of this world, ALL of us. yet we do the best we can, according to talents and gifts given to us, to accomplish what the Lord desires for us to do.

Mel Gibson did his best to depict what really happened, according to what he felt impressed by the Lord to do.

The Lord will use whomever he chooses to be his hands, feet, eyes and ears on earth. The Lord works through us, imperfect men and women, so nothing is going to be perfect.

Luke 23: 34
33 And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.
34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

In other words, they didn't know they were crucifying the creator of this world and everything that lives, breathes and moves upon it.
