I believe nothing has passed, all is binding until the 2nd coming of Christ.Jesus himself said he did not come to change the old laws but to fulfill them. I have seen many Christians base their faith on their own ethics. While I think this is great, I also think the real truth has been withheld from a true seeker.



Matthew 5:17 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest part or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place."

Matthew 5:18-19 1) “For truly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass the law until all is accomplished. Whoever then relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but he who does them and teaches them shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”

Luke 16:17 "It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass away than for the smallest part of the letter of the law to become invalid."



I think a lot of people ignore this particular scripture, which I think explains it all.

2 Peter 20-21 "Know this first of all, that there is no prophecy of scripture that is a matter of personal interpretation, for no prophecy ever came through human will; but rather human beings moved by the holy Spirit spoke under the influence of God."

That's right... and he FULFILLED the law when he died for you and me.

Romans 7:1 Do you not know, brothers—for I am speaking to men who know the law—that the law has authority over a man only as long as he lives? 2 For example, by law a married woman is bound to her husband as long as he is alive, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law of marriage. 3 So then, if she marries another man while her husband is still alive, she is called an adulteress. But if her husband dies, she is released from that law and is not an adulteress, even though she marries another man.
4 So, my brothers, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit to God. 5 For when we were controlled by the sinful nature, the sinful passions aroused by the law were at work in our bodies, so that we bore fruit for death. 6 But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code. NIV

Dennis is probably past point where he would repent and invite God into his heart. If he did he would be forgiven. If he says as some serial killer do God told him to do it that is a lie. God cannot go against His character and He clearly says though shalt not commit murder many times, so of course that is a lie that someone says God told him to.

in the British system, If this man was diagnosed as mentally ill. he would not be tried he would be sent to Broadmor, a hospital for the criminally insane, for the duration of the Queens pleasure. (Life) An insane man is not fit to plead nor able to sin.
Forgiveness is a Question for our own hearts.
God will forgive anyway as there was no sin.

Yes, and that is how it should be; but I have seen examples when that has not satisfied the victims of those hurt. I suppose that is a different matter though.
