Spirit of Slumber

Spirit of Slumber

Watching what was taking place at one of our Jewish Synagogue in the Gaga Stripe, with the Jewish people trying to take refuge behind one of their religious rabbi’s, from their own unarmed solders tearing the door down. I’m afraid if something like this should have happened when David was at his highest peak with God, I’m sure that God wouldn’t have allowed something like this to have happen to his people, even if their army had been unarmed. This wouldn’t have happen even if their army had went in with all their warfare, this would also have including their nuclear warfare, against they’re one and only God Jehovah.
We have many that believe, which God is going to gather the Jewish people back into their homeland of Israel, with all of God’s many great promises of hope. How can our great Godhead once again turn back unto a people that he never once turn against? For it were the Jewish people that turned against their God, by turning against God’s only source of Salvation coming before the son of man, which was Christ.

Going to the Book of Romans 11: 1,2,3,4 – we find Paul saying: “I say then, Have God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.”
“God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? How he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,”
“Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and I left alone, and they seek my life.”
“But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.”

Here we find Paul true feeling, as if he were then having to face the whole Jewish Kingdom alone, as Elijah. While most of the rest of the Jewish Kingdom, having the spirit of slumber, with eyes that cannot see and ears that cannot hear, as he referred to Elijah in the Book of First Kings 18: 22.
“Then said Elijah unto the people, I, even I only, remain a prophet of the Lord; but Baal’s prophets are four hundred and fifty men.”

Here we also find Paul asking has God cast away his people the Jewish Kingdom? God forbid. For he himself was an Israelite, the seed of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. Then all of Christ’s disciples were also Israelites, and most all of the very early true Christians at that time were also Israelites who had also followed after Christ.
Paul here pointed out that not all the entire Jewish Kingdom had been blinder, and could not see, and with ears that could hear. For then as Elijah, Paul knew that most of God’s people had once again rejected God’s messenger of Salvation, the same as in the days of Elijah.

Then back within Paul’s days according to Satan, it was God the first one that reject and turned from the Jews. This is when Satan tries to say that God, he was the first one that rejected the Jewish Nation, only that he might save the Gentiles. And that the Jews were not the first ones that reject their God, then we find it recorded in the Book of Romans 11: 7,8,9.10,11,12 – with Paul saying.
“What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he skeet for; but the election obtained it, and the rest were blinded.”
“(According as it is written, God hat given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.”

“And David satin, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:”
“Let their eyes be darkened that they may not see, and bow down their back always.”
“I say then, Have they slumbled that they shall fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.”
“Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?”

Then in the Book of Zechariah 13: 7,8,9 – we find: “Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the Lord of hosts: smite the shepherd: and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.”
“And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.”
“And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people and they shall say, The Lord is my God.”

These are the Jewish nation that shall follower after Christ, the ones that shall accept Christ as their Savior. These are the ones that shall be known as the Jews for Christ, or Christian Jews – then we find in the Book of St. Matthew 14: 27.
“Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the flock shall be scattered aboard.”
