As through sin you can come to know God ( If you want to know God that is) , and Gods eternal love more, as your sin is forgiven ( if you get my meaning ).

From a Buddhist perspective, the answer is no. Leaving aside the question's theistic aspect, one creates karma (effects) based upon the causes (choices) one makes. Sin in Buddhism is considered to be actions or choices which increase suffering; so to intentionally do so is to increase the negative karma or effects one will recieve in future. Logically there is little way to defend such a choice.

Yes. At the last church I attended. The preacher talked about the blessing of being morally sick, because then you are always feeling the eternal grace and love of God. So the more sick and twisted and sinful you are, the more god's forgiveness means, because he is forgiving you so much more. They even have a story in the Bible about the fact that the person's whose debt is the biggest will be the most thankful when his debt is forgiven. Basically the same principle there.

it is not through "sin" but through our atonement and personal betterment that we become closer to HaShem. I do not think "sinning" is a good way of coming to G-d but the importance should be placed on the path you take after that action

This does not mean sinning is right.
Sinning is always wrong.
Forgiveness requires true repentance .

I look at the Bride and Groom relationship between Jesus and The Church for example...

Would you sin against your husband or wife to try and get closer to them?

Does not make sense does it?

Another way to put it, God is the Father. Would a child try to test the love of his Father by pushing his luck just so dad can forgive him? Obviously the child knows his Father loves him enough to forgive him of a lot of wrong.

Like the story of the Prodigal son who went out and spent his inheritance on wicked things, but when he came back home his father treated him like royalty because he had come home! If he went out and did it again, the father probably would've kicked some butt.
