I have never died before by my knowledge.
So I can never be sure, but I asume I will no longer exist.

I'm not sure if I will die. The only proof of it is that other people seem to die. But, I personally have never died before, so I can never be 100% sure of it.

Im not so sure about 'death' ultimately existing. Id say that maybe theres just another change at the time which this body ceases to function. This body has never not been here in some form, and will never cease to be here in some form. Likewise I think the same can be said of all beings.

It looks like about only 14% of people are saved and going to Heaven. That is low for where I live in the Bible belt, but for online that sounds about right.

I hope your book with the made up story of a place called heaven is right. If not, you must look at the evidence before you. You die, you rot. Everybody is doing it and you will also. I don't care if you live in the " Bible belt" or not. You will rot , just like a Muslim, Mormon, JW, Hindu , or Atheist.

Hate to be your "kill joy", but just because someone wrote of a "magical' place we go to when we die does not make the story true.

This is my belief concerning after-death.

Buddha: "A human being is built up of the four elements. When he dies the earthy in him returns and relapses to the earth, the fluid to the water, the heat to the fire, the windy to the air, and his faculties pass into space." [Samannapala Sutta]

I suspose you have an explanation for NDE's and OOB's? In the age of modern resusitation techniques we have the evidenc of life after death right in front of us. The evidence and life experiences are on the side of the spiritual. And I just happend to know the creator spirit personally.

Well, I believe that when I die, I'll go to an afterlife realm created by God known as Heaven. I believe that most people will go to Heaven except for perhaps the most evil of people. And even for them, they may get a chance to go to Heaven after spending a lot of time in a place sort of like Purgatory or something where they are punished for their sins or purified of them and then allowed in to Heaven.

Peope have out of body experiences everyday in their dreams.

Oh really? Then next time you talk to him, ask him for the equation to solve the Unified Field Theory, write it down and share it with the forums to prove it.

I find an afterlife to be highly unlikely, so my tentative conclusion is that when I die, I am no more.

I'd prefer to be cremated than buried, because to me burial looks like a fool's desire for immortality, wherein her body is placed to rest under a stone with her name and this spot is forever designated as "hers" until it of course ceases to be as well.

My belief is that our physical bodies are returning to the earth the life energy that we borrowed from it.
Our spiritual bodies become one with the universal consciousness that permeates all things, living or inanimate, so as to pass on our knowledge and experiences to that consciousness.
Then eventually, our spiritual bodies return to the mundane world in order to learn more.
When you refer to a spiritual body, which aspect of a being are you referring to? Does it include some of the same personality and memories, or is it an entirely different person that bears no resemblance to the previous one?

It seems within this process, the being is separate, but then becomes one with everything, and then becomes separate again. "What" exactly, is that which separates itself from the one? And going through multiple cycles of this, what is consistently unique about that which becomes separate each time?

I will retract my statement earlier of eternally learning, because I just remembered the concept of Nirvana. Once one's spirit has learned all that there is to learn, they become one with the universal consciousness.
Earlier you said that when we die, we pass on our experience to the universal consciousness. To me, this implies that the universal consciousness you speak of is in a state of learning as well, because otherwise, passing on experiences to it is redundant. If that's the case, then I don't understand what is meant when it is said that one's spirit has learned all there is to learn. Can you clarify?

I will hopefully be wherever I always was before I was born.

An after-life realm created by chaos and roamed by me, and others.

Nonsense. Those effects can be induced by drugs. They appear to be a natural outcome of reducing the supply of oxygen to the brain.

Part of my soul is in the Duat (afterlife dimension), and another part of my soul is doing whatever it does, probably hanging with my deities or getting reborn.

I don't know how to vote. I believe in reincarnation, but I am not aiming to come back again. The afterlife created by God doesn't quite fit, either.

I aim for union with the Divine, with the All. I aim for moksha - so what do I tick? Other, I guess?

My body will be here, as for my "soul," I can't say for sure, but probably also still here to live through another being.
