What is your Mission in life?

I'd just like to butt back in and announce that I have also accomplished Mr. Spinkle's delicious mission! Do I get extra points for doing that?
Mission accomplished! Thanks to you, FeathersinHair, Operation Baked Goods was a huge success. Extra points all around!

To live, learn, attain the knowledge I need to move on towards the Divine. To learn from my mistakes, those in this life and the past ones. To love openly and freely all aspects of life, the people in my life, and the Divine.

This was originally a question for the Christians, but I guess there is no reason why everyone can't provide an answer.

From a religious perspective, how do you interpret your 'mission' in life?:)
To love when hated...
To bless when despised...
To offer help when ridiculed...
To heal when disease surrounds me...
To offer peace when chastised...
To forgive 70 x 7 times...
To walk a straight and narrow path...
To never be ashamed of my Lord...

What he said. I believe my mission in life is to follow the path of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Some days are better than others.

To find the truth of things, no matter how well hidden,
and to have the wisdom to understand what I have found.

"
A man is wise with the wisdom of his time only, and ignorant with its ignorance." --Henry David Thoreau

"Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding." --Proverbs 4:7

My mission in life is to entertain the masses and bring them enjoyment.
I have meditated on this issue greatly, and found it to be the only logical conclusion.
I act on stage to entertain a more sophisticated class.
I wrestle to entertain a more blood-thirsty class.
I play bass guitar to entertain a music loving class.
I do many other things to entertain, such as stage and street magic.

I feel horrible, because I read this too quickly, and it sounded like a plan for violence. (Then I remembered who was writing it, and their kindness, and realized that could not be so!) *scolds self to read things more slowly*

My mission, thankfully, is whatever I want it to be. I'm going along the lines of whatever is needed of me to reduce suffering.

This post caught my eye. "Mission" and here I go and think Star Trek. lol Hope everyone can forgive me for splitting hairs here...but I don't have a mission. I'd like the divine to give me an invitation to one before I go on one.

However I do try to accomplish a few things in my life. Namely to enjoy the life I have. Beyond that to love, support and provide smiles when I can. Anything beyond that is too much for the shoulders I have. They are too small to hold the world on them, I'll let Atlas continue with that job. I'll keep walking my path.
