Doesn't WW2 Show Christiany is Wrong?

i believe you can attain heaven by doing good in this world

What you do on Earth with the time your given is what's important and is fixated in the moment, not what awaits you after you die, because when you die, its party time for all the little wormies... and that's it.

you live goodness. thats God.

Is there some reason why you want to add a layer of confusion to a very simple concept? The simple concept of being "good" is relative but is universally understood as not doing that which would harm another, right?

The added layer of confusion is to take that simple concept and call it god. That automatically infers I am merely a puppet with no choices and any good I may or may not do is not of my doing, but instead gods doing.

So, if everyones good is god, why would god need humans?

Do you think its possible, even just a little bit, that we as humans can do good without anyones help?

sigh. thats what u believe, i believe in samsara and karma. merry christmas.

not really, i can use the john, but thats not a good deed, cept for my intestines.

i never said goodness was God's doing. it all follows the same thing whether you proclaim ur belief in God or not. i mean, besides all those nonsense kosher rules that u find in religions and thier texts, what does God want from you as a individual!??! to live life to the fullest, do good deeds, be happy, and help others. God did not force you, you have a choice to do this and better your karma. if not, your conscious will get you, and you will go down hill.

and then you say "oh so, God is forcing us, otherwise we will go downhill rite?"
do u really want to kill people for no apparent reason? do you want to steal? do you want to not help people with aids or with cancer, the elderly or disabled.

ya, thought so.

What do you think about John and casting stones?

Who's casting stones? You think I am? - It's the Bible I'm quoting, not me. I'm just another sinner. I'm quoting Jesus, and He is the definitive expert.

QUOTE=(Q)] Read the Bible people - before you debate God's salvation

Funny you should assume we haven't read the Bible. It would be almost as funny if we assumed you didn't read any books other than the Bible.[/QUOTE]

I'm not being sarcastic. I'm really concerned for any who don't understand that Jesus is the only way to salvation. I don't think you read the Bible because salvation is laid out in very clear, concise language, yet you all seem to think there's another way. There is not!!

I realize that this is a little off the main subject, but if you don't get this - your not saved, and the main subject is of no importance. Saving you, on the other hand, is very important. Eternity is a long time to be sorry.

You quote John a lot. You pretend that everything you read in John is true. I was just curious about your opinion of the "casting stones" story.

What if we don't want his salvation? Maybe I'm perfectly content to live my life to the fullest and hand my carcass over to the little wormies. Circle of life thing, you know?

That is your personal opinion. And since the Bible has been shown to be seriously flawed, why would I not simply add it to the other books of its kind on the shelf; ie. Aesops fables, Grimms fairy tales, the Quran?

Saving you, on the other hand, is very important. Eternity is a long time to be sorry.

Quite frankly, I just can't see myself hanging around and talking with theists for an eternity.

The fires of Hell appear that much more inviting. ;)

This is one of the MOST UNGODLY of Christian dogmas.
Eternal burning in hell!

Why do you suppose, God didn't tell Paul and Yeshua that amazing fact?

Paul_an_apostle, tell me why Yeshua offered me something I already have?
Tell me why your namesake, then says put on imortality?
(immortal soul doctrine)
Go ahead and stand at the door of the kingdom and hinder those who want to go in. But put on your armor first, because your going to experience, "fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom!" It won't be pretty!

Part of the church era/error!

I think the lesson is relatively obvious. But I'm not sure what your getting at. I assumed you were trying to infer that I am throwing stones, which I'm definitely not. So what are you asking?

God is a gentleman - He doesn't impose His will on anybody - it's your choice, of course. But please count the cost. If I'm wrong, then all I've lost is a few years of whatever; if you are wrong, what are you losing?

The Bible describes the punishment in the Lake of fire, it says that hell was created for the devil and his angels and not originally for man. It states that God wants us to choose Him over death. Yeshua knew this and endorsed it (He endorsed he entire Old Testament); Paul Endorsed it. So I guess I don't really understand what your asking or saying.

Absolutely nothing. Dead is dead. What is there to lose?

There is no such thing as eternal life - that is a contradiction in terms - an oxymoron.

"If I'm wrong, then all I've lost is a few years of whatever; if you are wrong, what are you losing?"

Actually, according to many other religions/belief systems if you are wrong you will go to hell. No one is safe!

If I were to pour out a crock of whatever, as you did, I would plead ignorance also.

Selective reading, addition and subtraction is not becoming for someone professing he is quoting Jesus and Paul. Read your above statement, count the additions, twists and subtractions.
What part of "Immortal Soul Doctrine" (which you have espoused in an earlier post)do you not understand?

paul an apostle writes:
John 14:6
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Means: the only way to salvation is through Jesus Christ

There is no other way. If you don't accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior - your NOT saved

but then....

Let me please reset some of your beliefs:
1. Jesus came to save ALL mankind; not just the Jews; not just His followers
2. The Jews (Jewish Jews that is) do not consider Jesus a Prophet - afterall - in their terms He is a liar, since He said He was their Messiah
3. Real Christians (that is - Born again, not just professing) do NOT have a problem with Jews; they gave us the Old Testament, and are considered, religeously speaking, the wife of God

Now the initial question about WWII:
WWII was, in reality, an attempt by the Devil to eliminate Jews from the face of the Earth BEFORE their Messiah could come (the 2nd time) to finally bring His kingdom to earth (which is what the Jews are waiting on)

These man-made theologies never-ever made any sense. Either Jesus Christ saves ALL or just those who only believe in him. Which is it ??

Cheers

I'm back!
meaning that Jesus proclaimed to everyone (yes everyone in the entire world, even in the depth of the forests in the heart of afrika, in the southern most part of india, in the depths of the poloneasian islands, to the native americans in brazil) that they have a free invitation to be free by believe in what He says. well Jesus' says runs parallel to what most eastern and other religions say. so i guess we are all saved.

christians take this messege, and say, only people who come to the catholic religion can be saved, because jesus IN PERSON belongs soley to thier religion. (<this is false, its called propaganda.).

funny, christianity was made after jesus died.

Well, Catholics do not feel this way.......... so please refrain from posting negative opinions about a faith you know little about.

Your lies/propaganda are somehow honorable because you are not Christian????

I think not....... practice what you preach and be open to the truth and educate yourself about a subject before posting propaganda.

Peace in Christ,
Scott

What do we need to be saved from? We need to be saved from God. The last thing in the world the impenitent sinner ever wants to meet on the other side of the grave is God. But the glory of the gospel is that the One from whom we need to be saved is the very One who saves us. God in saving us saves us from Himself.
Romans 5:9: Much more then, having been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him (Jesus Christ).
Read 1st Thessalonians 1:9-10
