Lucifer and gods.

Luciferians acknowledge the principal entity of Earthly knowledge personified as Lucifer, the Light-Bringer (gnosis). It has nothing to do with love, wars with God, Good vs Evil, Demons, Devils etc. etc. (boring I know) :run:

I'm very unclear about the entire Lucifer thing, in my mind he is nothing more than Greek mythology stolen by mid-evil Christians to make their stories spookier.

Some also consider Enki in Sumerian mythology to be Lucifer.

Admittedly, I do not know much about Sumerian mythology though...lol.

I am a Satanist and I believe that he is Enki, or Prometheus. Basically I believe that all the gods in polytheistic religions are connected for the most part, and are the same beings with different names due to cultural differences. I just choose to refer to him as Satan or Lucifer. I believe that Satan and Lucifer are two sides to the same being, Satan being the more agressive and almost warlord-like side, as in a war on christianity (the "adversary" of christianity), and Lucifer is the more fatherly and loving side, the side that brings the truth, or light.

I agree

I agree with this because it seems every culture has a figure who was the underdog and who was punished for granting some element to mankind.

but as for the worship of old summerian / egyptian gods

I wouldn't say that I worship any set of gods other than Lucifer and his demons, however as stated before, I do believe that the sumerian/egyptian gods as well as Greek and Roman gods, Norse gods etc are parallels to Satan. I worship him as Satan/Lucifer, however I respect the other religions and their views, because I believe they are worshipping the same deity(ies). So I don't worship the old gods, I revere them, but I worship Lucifer and his Demons only.

I admire Prometheus and Venus

What or Who is Venus, besides the obvious? What literature or stories are cited for Venus as a thing?

To me: Prometheus, Lucifer/Satan (i see them as a duality), and probably many more, are all symbols of the same sort of rebellion.

lol Me 2 my friend Hesperus,Lvcifer,Venus,Prometheus,Phosphorus all have the same purpose and meaning but to me personally Lvcifer still holds the greatest and always will.

I only believe in Lvcifer although i admire the others from a philosophical point of view

You believe in lucifer in a theistic sense? Why choose him? Why not choose the earliest form of him? Or are they really all the same entity through different cultural filters?

I Believe in the fall of Lvcifer thats pretty much all i take from the bible, the rest of my views I have formed myself. But yes I believe him to be a real being. All the others I admire

could I dig deeper?
...
if you believe in the fall (from the bible) do you accept heaven/hell, God...etc? if you believe in a deity Lucifer and admire others - are those others also deities?

I only believe in Lvcifer although I admire the others. Yes I do believe in heaven and yahweh but I believe Lvcifer created the earth and some of the people on it.

I view "god" as the enemy and Lvcifer is the liberator of us all, the one sets us free.

So, your beliefs are merely an inversion sort of thing? You could replace lucifer with satan or any god for that matter - or is there something special about lucifer that makes him the one to believe in?

i wanted to know how luciferians see Lucifer, and if they relate him to any gods in any way.
could someone please tell me about all this as i can't find much about it?

I dont expect anyone to take notice btw but this Is how I see him...

Gods subconscious!!! Parts of God. Lucifer has a dark side and a light side imo
For example Satan and Jesus in essence. But then Lucifer flows through us all and can be named differently, seen and felt differently imho

Lucifer related to Enki/Ea? how the hell does that work out?

This question was on the first page, but seeing as no one answered it (Completely at least) I'll be happy to explain.

To many Luciferians, Lucifer is seen as a symbol of wisdom and knowledge. Many other religions have a similar figure that plays the same role as Lucifer. Prometheus being a wonderful example. Prometheus (In greek mythology) Is said to be the creater. He made all the creatures that inhabit the earth, from dirt and water (Or some similar materials). Above all his other creations, he loved man the most. He stole fire from Zeus, and presented it to mankind. Along with this gift, he taught them skills that would help them prosper. When Zeus threatened to annihilate the human race with a flood (Which was due to a trick Prometheus tried to pull on Zeus, in attempt to further humanties prosperity.) Prometheus gave the knowledge needed to build an arc (Sound familiar?). Thus he was punished, and banished from Mount Olympus (One could say "Cast down from the heavens"). The point is, that Enki has a very similar story to Prometheus'. Both sharing similarities to the another familiar story, that can be found in the bible.

In Greek mythology, Prometheus opposed Zeus (Argueably the greatest of the gods) in order to bring knowledge to mankind. Enki did the very same. Lucifer, as I said above, is a symbol of knowledge. All three share such similar stories, that many Luciferians draw the conclusion that all three are the same being, or symbol, ect. I personally believe the same thing. So Lucifer being many diffrent gods is a possibility (In my mind).

My post was a bit longer than I had intended, but I hope it helps a little. If not, oh well, at least my fingers are nice and limber now.
