I find the age given a reasonable estimate of time. However, my concern is the tiny piece of "evidence" they're using to lead to such a conclusion.

I'm no expert on the subject having only secondary school physics and physic 1A at university, but how the hell did they "snapshot the earliest light in the universe." It confuses me given that such a statement can be made with the notion that we have no idea just how big the universe is.
