why are atheistic worldviews so limited

Chuck, you could use these articles as a find the fallacy assignment in a logic class. These arguments have been submitted and resubmitted for decades. They've been torn apart and discredited dozens of times but still they continue to pop up.

Science has discovered numerous, easily understood, reasonable explanations of change over time and an old Earth; of how the laws of physics and chemistry account for the observed universe, yet there remains an obtuse subset of poorly educated people who continue to find magic a more plausible "explanation" for the world than testable, observable mechanisms. Reason and evidence seems to have as much impact on these dunderheads as water on a duck's back.
I wonder why I even bother to respond....

Care to answer my question in your own words? It's too complicated for me. I need you to break it down please in your own language for me.

Let's consider the ethical implications B.S; shall we? You've plagarized an argument which you haven't even bothered to verify as correct.

Cavalier attitudes toward truth IMO are expected from some people, but in a religious forum, where people discuss existential matters which they believe to be ultimately affecting their (supposed) eternal existence in the hereafter? Social taboos aside, do you feel good about resorting to B.S. in such a place? IMO, bold and lazy indulgences like yours have no place in a forum where people come to learn about life and seek guidance on matters which they believe ultimately affect their soul.

In your prayers today, you may consider asking christ for some guidance on the importance of respect for truth.

And I find it illogical that one would consider the obvious fairy tale stories of atheism, pseudo-history and other tribal laws to be actual revealed reason of any atheism

You should at least try to make sense when you're attempting to insult others.

Hitler did not love his neighbor as himself there for he is not christian and I'm not catholic

Ah, so now that's a prerequisite for being Christian? So, what you're saying is that 90% of the people who call themselves Christians aren't actually Christians? Good work.

"I really don't care what your opinion of Hitler was. I also don't care if you're a Catholic or not. All are considered Christians in this world. So what was your point of chumming Stalin and Hitler. "

two questions

1. if you don't care about my opinions or if I'm catholic then why did you post anything?

2. what makes you the best expert on what a christian is?

Did you know....there are 119 grooves, aka reeds, on the edge of a quarter.

Fascinating.

It's true. I just counted 'em while reading this thread.

I am amazed at how atheists can mantain their credulity in the face of recent cognitive science developments such as the law of thermodynamics and enertia.
*rolls about floor laughing*

Listen, if you ever get tired of throwing out meaningless insults and actually debating, I'm ready to talk. If not, I don't think this is the best forum for you.

Actually, after much philosophical and psychological reflection...

Really -- After a few minutes of chin stroking while gazing at the monitor...

...recent cognitive science developments such as the law of thermodynamics and enertia.

I hate pulling the age card yet I suspect Chuck is a minor.

limited? I get to fiddle with the idea that maybe our Universe is one of many bubbles inside a multiverse which is one of many bubbles inside a superverse which is one of many bubbles inside another thing....and on and on and on. Maybe there is no first cause, maybe this universe inside another universe goes on forever! Not that this is my belief, but it's an interesting idea and I hardly feel that ideas about existence that don't include an intelligent creator are somehow "limited."
