Who will win: Bush or Kerry?

Who will win the Presidential election?

It looks like a very close race. Now, forget for a moment who you WANT to win, think only of who you THINK will win. What is your unbiased opinion?

I think Kerry will win by a small margin, but it is not a strong opinion...it's sort of a guess.

I have no idea. The race is so close right now that it's hard to tell and a million things could happen between now and November to sway favor in either direction. I'm voting for Kerry and I have every confidence he can win, but we will see.

i think that kerry will win. although i am biased because he is from MA like me. We love him up here.

both candidates are horrible for our coutry but i think that if kerry gets in we wont see any more of the ridiculoud wars that bush will continue to make up

Well Spinkles...I'm not all that good at maths but I dont understand this : 10000%...hmm I guess I do suck at maths....percent used to be out of 100 o_O

anyway I think Kerry will win...since there seems to be an overwhelmingly large amount of people who dislike bush...but perhaps that's just over here...

yeah...NH...the only new england state to vote for bush last year...congrats...haha jk...

unfortunatly thats the way NH is for some reason. i do not understand it at all. NH is all about living free and the environment so why not elect a democrat? interesting.

oh well. i know whether i vote or not out 12 electorals are goign to kerry

BIG gibb--NH probably doesn't always vote for the Democrats because the Democratic party is not necessarily 'more free' or 'more environment' than Republicans. Democrats want to restrict the freedom to use guns, and in the eyes of some people, freedom of religion and speech. Lots of hunters are Republicans, and they care about the environment....Teddy Roosevelt was a Republican and he did more for the environment than any other President. Finally, Republicans generally favor lower taxes, giving people more freedom over their money. I'm not defending the GOP, just proposing some possible factors in NH's voting tendencies.

tumble weed--All I did was type in the different options for the poll, and this is what I got. The polling system is screwed up I guess.

Hmm...I seem to be the only one on this thread who wants Bush to win.

Yes, the polls are a bit screwy at the moment. Just bear with us until Rex has it fixed.

Seems to be. But we won't hold that against you. ;)

I think it's still a bit early to tell. If everyone voted right now, I'd say that Kerry would win, but then again, the Republicans haven't started really campaigning yet. There are also the debates, which should be very interesting indeed...however, it doesn't seem to me that the majority of our population really watches those, and if they do, they certainly won't understand much, especially if they already have their minds made up about who they want. That's just how things appear from my angle though.

Who do I want to win? Well Spinkles, I'll side with you on this one for now. Bush is certainly not a perfect president--he's not the greatest public speaker and his intelligence (or lack thereof) is the butt of every joke these days, but I think all that comes with the territory. At the end of the day, Bush was put into a ball-twisting situation and he was able to handle it. If the Democrats had been in office, I think we still would have gone to war--either now because the people would've been pissed that nothing was getting done to 'avenge' 9/11, or in the future because the problems with Saddam Hussein and Al-Quaida would have escalated. It's all realative, and we need to especially realize that there's no way in hell the Democrats would ever agree with anything the Republicans choose to do, even if they'd have done the same thing, because that's political suicide.

Bush is against abortion, which fits with my beliefs. The one qualm I have with him concerns his stance on gay marriage, but I'm not too worried there. To outlaw gay marriage is unconstitutional, and so even if the president is against it, it'll get evened out soon enough. That's why we have checks and balances!

I'm for John Kerry, but I really think he will win. But I believe it's not that people want him for the job, but because most want Bush out of office. My just turned 18 year old sister, who does not care anything about politics said " I hate Bush, and don't care who I vote for, as long as it's not Bush " I'm sure she'll vote Kerry, but I hoped she would at least learn more about Kerry. And there's a nation of people just like my sister
