if the Bible is found to be false, so too the Quran must be false

You CANNOT set there and tell me that the deadsea scrolls, written by some men that no one knows about, and taken from a dead language and worded to our own languages, is correct. Maybe, some parts have been saved in the tranformation. Maybe not. The world has made a religion out of the words of men that lived and died hundreds upon hundreds of years ago. Mankind searches for some reasoning to be here, and has found it in religion. It gives him a response, and a profile to be alive. A purpose. That is why religions press sooo hard to carry out the words of people that know one has ever...ever met. How does anyone know what is true. Prove it. People come to me often and say, " Hey, I can prove it to you...things have happened in my life that leave me with no other option, but, to believe in it."
Hey, if getting a job is proof of God. If getting a healing over you having the flu, or slim chance of dying from a heart problem is proof of 'almighty existence', then dang, where are the real miracles that science can not explain. I believe in God. I believe in his word, but, not taking his word for a literal 'guideline' to live a life. The old testament was meant for the people in that era. The new testament is supposed to carry us to the end. Life is that simple, huh? Makes no sense to me.
~We have no proof that the bible has not been rewritten in a manuiplative form. Heck, the whole church world could be living it just the opposite..lol. Who knows.

the dead sea scrolls were written by men that no one knows today, but so was the constitution of the United States. i believe the bible has been manipulated by "the lying pens of the Scribes" - Jeremiah 8:7-9. it says in the bible it has been corrupted. But proving the bible wrong would not necessarily prove the Quran wrong since Islam teaches that the bible is corrupt, but also has truth in it.

Read them both, study get comparitive sources from each religions scholars and then ask the question yourself the answer is very clear.t3gah said:
