the questions we ask are the people we are. we try hard to find the answers, but if not once we search the questions that we somehow already know the answers. will we ever rise above what "they" carved in stone.
is it all second hand (do we live by "the book" copy and paste)
or is it worn down and out(all has been said and done)
or do you have instinctive knowledge?(if you know what that means ,tell me because this is the question that somehow i already have the answer)
RIDE MY POLL but first i want a question.

I have no questions for you kk; I believe I have instinctive knowledge - I believe I know the difference from what sounds right and what sounds wrong; it is endemic - perhaps it makes no sense; perhaps it is what some call 'Faith'.:)

i believe you need to find the question and you will know that "faith need not be blind"

Im not sure I understand this thread. Are you asking if we are capable of truly creative thought? I dont believe so. What we are capable of is combining unrelated ideas and evidences into new ideas and thus - be creative.
Put it like this. Are you capable of imagining a new colour?

Ride your poll? Do you want me to hop on it and use a saddle or do so bareback?

On topic, I think there are very few original thoughts in the world. There may be original thoughts for a person, but odds are someone's thought of it before.

i find it hard to think of colors as pure thought.color is misrepresenting and cannot be taken for face value.the color you see is not nessesarily what i see nor will we both nessesarily agree that it should look that way according to the reference we are given.

when crayola crayons come out with new colors, they are thought up by referencing with other colors, and then transformed from thought by combining to be created.

to make "a new" is not an original thought

did a caveman watching a bird fly have a thought that he too would like to fly?

i would think yes and i would think that everyone else laughed at him
but even still at his expense he told everyone of"evolution of all creation"
it was his theory but the title was longer then the theory he created
so noone had the time to listen anyway because he was the guy who just wants to fly.

and mostly because i dont care that anybody who thinks "they know it all" is going to tell me that with all their evolution and darwinism that man will ever grow wings .

Yes, how very postmodern.. :)

What I mean is - can you imagine a colour you have never seen?

the only reason we have color is the light.the colors that we find in nature we try to duplicate.they keep changing and we can only imagine the limits of creation.
the human eye is not a great filter for the light . our eyes are a waste, compared to the colors we could see.

i can imagine different colors but not without reference to a sample of another color and the light.

its not color but the light you see ....color is an optical effect of light
can you imagine light.

I wonder if Blaise Pascal is using the calculator he invented to understand this comment.[size=-1]

Even if everything has already been done, you haven't done everything. That's all that matters.

How about, you don't understand evolution to ask a question like 'why will man never grow wings.' Read up on it and get back to us.

When you said that stuff about colour just being light, well, think about this: everything is sensory experience and therefore about as corrupt as the light that enters our eyes. The only sure thing is your own existence; that is, if you do exist. The only sure thing for me is my existence so to me, you might not exist.

woooooooooooooo spooky or what? no.

So what on Earth are you doing talking to yourself on a forum that is only in your mind ?

Well if it's only in my mind it doesn't make a difference what I say so I might aswell say what I would say if it was real, to be on the safe side.
