Dream Jobs

I think youre dream jobs sound great, Lady Crimson! :) Part of the reason is because they overlap with mine. I've been working on a book too - a novel about Lucifer. I know that it's a good story; I just worry whether I have the talent to bring it to life.

My second dream job, if I could find someone to pay me to do it, would be to try to promote dialogue between scientists and religionists. When I left science a couple of years ago to study religion, it was with this intent - to get well versed enough in religion - several different religions but particularly Christianity - so that I could genuinely understand from these different points of view. I've never been sure that anyone will pay me to do this, and frankly now I'm not even sure that I can make any difference, but that was the plan.
And a great one it is, too - I've witnessed the obvious knowledge you have in your posts. Maybe this is your 'vocation'; you have set yourself a great goal - don't give up on it by doubt!:)

In Italy there was a saying, "Naples has three beautiful things: the bay, the Vesuvius and...Maradona."

Diego Maradona, for those unfamiliar, is the Argentine footballer (that's football with your feet) who is the most naturally talented sportsman I've ever witnessed and who many argue is the greatest football player ever. Watching Maradona play football made me feel for a considerable time during my youth that there was no other life worth having.

The only job I can imagine would be anywhere near as enjoyable as being paid to have fun kicking a ball around is being paid to have fun making music - punk-rock. Unfortunately I'm not particularly special when it comes to either.

Batman. Don't even try and tell me you haven't all wished it at some point as well.
Personally, I'd rather be Cat Woman...but Queen of the World has always had a beautiful ring to it.

If you decide to be Catwomen, as Batman, you leave me no other choice but to bring you to justice. Would you settle for Queen Of Arkham instead?

wow, so many fine jobs.

Hmm, batman...nope, I preffer to be ...the female version of spiderman (uh, tights! :p)

Maradona, I think all my classmates (the guys) want to be him but only four have said it out loud. :p

Indeed lilithu, noble choice. I too would love to study religions...but only for my personal knowledge, I don't have the patience to help people...but maybe when I'll be older. I have joined religious forums to achieve this goal, to learn more about beliefs but I am more interested about forgotten religions or just very old ones cause I doubt any of them can trully be forgotten. (hmm, *meditates* )

Model and prop designer for Industrial Light and Magic. Though this job has probably been mostly phased out because of these damn computers. CGI is the wave of the future in movies. Ah , the good old days!

My dream job is to take my wrestling skills, and get a contract as a main-eventer for the WWE. That is my dream, that is so much a dream, it will probably only be a dream. Actually, I would be satisfied being able to make a living doing nothing but pro-wrestling.
