Fact is stranger than fiction

Keith

Keith
I am an ordinary man with extraordinary spiritual experiences. When I recount them, the most polite response is often incredulity whilst others accuse me of being a drunk, a drug abuser, a fantasist, or in need of urgent medical or psychiatric help.

I don’t know who first used the phrase that “Fact is stranger than fiction” but Shakespeare was certainly right when he wrote “There are more things in Heaven and earth than this world dreams of”. Here are some of my extraordinary spiritual experiences which I hope might generate discussion or at least open minds to possibilities not previously considered.

  • In the early 60’s my father had a cancerous lung removed and shortly afterwards two more cancers were growing in his remaining one. The doctors said they could do no more so I asked a spiritual healer for help. Using me as a conduit to my father he sent healing rays to him and very quickly the surgeon was amazed to find his cancers receding. He survived for another 8 years but in the meantime, thinking the healer had used God’s Healing Power to cure my father, I joined as a trainee healer his section of the Great White Brotherhood.
  • 3 years later I was rapidly developing psychic ability, became an Inner Brother and thought I was serving God by helping others. Then came the first great shock of my life. I had two visions of Jesus offering to save me. Save me? From what? To my Eternal shame I turned Him down because He wanted me to give up all that I then believed and did and to follow Him. My soul told me this was indeed God on earth and here was a Love that would not be denied but I couldn’t overcome the Thames Valley lifestyle and my work for the Brotherhood. The experience made me ill off work and I couldn’t speak to anyone about it until time dulled the memory.
  • The reality of the spirit power I was involved in was later brought home to me one dark night. I was driving a business friend from Reading to Bracknell New Town and he was telling me how the previous night he had been parked outside a house where a horrific murder had occurred and an apparition had appeared to him and his girlfriend. This had left them both very shaken. As he was speaking an evil dark cloud appeared on the dashboard which grew tentacles and was actually trying to physically eject us from the car. My friend was a tough ex soldier who had survived World War 2 and was now a top Insurance Inspector. I didn’t think anything could frighten him but this beast did. I was frantically trying to control the car whilst at the same time calling upon the power of the Great White Brotherhood to save us from the evil one. Eventually I was able to clear the car of the conditions by the power of the GWB. Thus showing how Satan can control his own.
  • The second major shock came on retreat at the GWB’s headquarters where I was undergoing an initiation test for Inner Brotherhood. The founder and leader was a pleasant quietly spoken lady who warmly welcomed me into her brightly lit private sitting room. No ritual or séance type preparations. It was just a normal conversation until I said I thought we could help the Christian Church. In a flash her demeanour changed as she yelled that I “mustn’t interfere with the Church as they would use their power to destroy us.” I was trying to fathom out what power that was when she was transfigured by a spirit snake. Her head and shoulders had disappeared into a grey mist protruding from which a semi materialised spirit snake with a humanised head was aiming its fangs at my forehead. I was paralysed with fright but fortunately because Lord Jesus had previously appeared to me in vision I was mentally able to call out to him. Soon the snake withdrew back into the mediums body and calm returned. Only then did I realise that I was serving Satan not God as I thought. This was confirmed by the first lesson next morning which was how to contact and bring alive the Yoga spirit Kundalini snake said to lie dormant at the base of all our spines. I had never heard of this before but having seen the founder’s success at doing this the night before I closed my mind to the lesson and mentally asked for Jesus’ protection.
  • That started a crucifixion period as God pulled one way and Satan the other. God wanting me to repent all that I then believed in and Satan offering power rituals to control others. After a year, on the Friday of Whitsuntide 1968, I finally repented to Lord Jesus and was born again. I seemed to die and lay in the tomb. On the Saturday I was taken before one I thought was God and judged. I awoke on the Sunday morning to the sound of Angels singing to start life anew whilst still in the body. I think that everyone who is born again undergoes the same experience but few it seems are blessed to record the soul experience as it happens.
  • The first task was to tell the Great White Brotherhood what had happened but previous friends didn’t want to know. The groups solicitors not only threatened a High Court writ to stop me talking about what had happened to me but also said they would write to my employers telling them that I was libelling a public Christian Charity!!! At the time I was the South of England Area Manager of a large financial organisation so the threat to me and my family’s livelihood was very serious. But my experience of being saved was too profound so I told them to go ahead as only they feared the light being shone upon them, not me. In retrospect that was very apposite because they don’t allow daylight into their sanctuaries as ‘it disperses the spirit power’. There the matter rested but….?
  • Satan hates losing even an unwitting disciple but I had discovered that the Lords Prayer which I had previously spurned was now very potent at keeping evil spirits at bay. To relax I took my family touring the beauty spots of Eire. An old gypsy type lady latched on to our young children and we gave her a lift home. This took us miles out of our way and she disappeared as she got out of the car in a very narrow country lane with impenetrable high hedgerows!! We found a hotel for the night and I was awoken by a mysterious light in the room and was almost shocked out of my skin by two demons on the large window seat. Calling upon Lord Jesus for protection I soon realised that His Cloak was protecting us and they could only frighten. Even so I breathed a sigh of thankful relief when the first rays of the sun peeped through the curtains and the demons disappeared. Physical threats having failed, this had been Satan’s spiritual retaliation for losing a soul!!
Sad to say, the Christian Church rejected my experiences and I was left feeling that most theologians would fall out of their pulpits with shock at the thought that what they taught was a true after all!! Many say I can’t be a Christian because I have no church to back me. To that I reply that I have answered thousands of souls and never once contradicted what Jesus is recorded as teaching in the Four Gospels. This is because these Gospels do not contain interpretations, opinions, or explanation for particular circumstances. I automatically thought that I would be required to serve in a church yet the last vision I had was of an Angel leading me down a road on either side of which was every church known to man. At each I hesitated but the Angel pressed me on. The road became a track and eventually a desert in the middle of which the Angel stopped and said:

“Here is the task, that God does ask, every grain of sand, in this desert land, is a soul on earth, here is where you prove your worth. Bring to God all who would be shrieved, but first tell those in whom you believed, what God has shown to you. This you now must do.”

Almost 30 years passed before I was allowed to testify for Jesus when Internet Message Boards proved to be the desert!!

The link in my signature to my videos No 1-6 give more detail about the above experiences. Anyone care to discuss them possibly by relating them to their own?

Hi Keith, welcome to RF.

It is my understanding that the experiences you describe are not truly spiritual, but certainly are a result of your attempt to unfold the true spiritual nature within you.

The trials of a serious disciple are extremely difficult for the divine universal spirit, though always omnipresent, remains veiled to mortal perceptions for reasons we won't go into here and now.

When and if a true spiritual experience occurs, it will be in the medium of pure spirit and objective material reality will not be present, nor will emotions, or even thoughts arise for the spirit will not in the body at the time, though these perceptions will inevitably arise once more when the spirit returns to the body,...assuming it does. :D

Thank you for your welcome. To me the spirit means our soul. Thus if my soul has undergone a life changing experience that means I have had a spiritual experience which is related to God our Creator and not to human guru.

Your convoluted words have an air of mystery that only initiates can fully understand but Lord Jesus only spoke simple words for the uneducated. Those who surrender their souls to their Creator God have no initiation ceremonies to go through as once a soul has repented and been accepted by Jesus then in that instant the soul is cleansed of all anti-God thoughts and can then see clearly God’s intention for its future existence.

Those who try to unfold their soul unravel it so that it becomes easy prey for forces that seek to enslave it for eternity. That has been my experience.

"....but Lord Jesus only spoke simple words for the uneducated."

Mathew 13:1-17.

The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.

And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.

And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow; And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up: Some fell upon astony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.

And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them: But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

For whosoever hath, to him shall be be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people’s aheart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

Glad to see you know the simple words that Jesus spoke to the uneducated!! The important words in the quotation are;

“He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given”

because they confirm my words i.e. “Those who surrender their souls to their Creator God have no initiation ceremonies to go through as once a soul has repented and been accepted by Jesus then in that instant the soul is cleansed of all anti-God thoughts and can then see clearly God’s intention for its future existence.”

Keith, welcome to RF! Now I am not here to judge anyone or belittle their beliefs; I am merely trying to understand various theist beliefs. So out of curiosity, what exactly do angels singing sound like? This is not a sarcastic question by the way. Also what exactly are your psychic abilities? Can you see future events?
As I say, this reply is not meant to undermine your faith, I am just curious.

Hi Keith, it is not clear to what you refer to when you say, “Those who surrender their souls to their Creator God have no initiation ceremonies to go through as once a soul has repented and been accepted by Jesus then in that instant the soul is cleansed of all anti-God thoughts and can then see clearly God’s intention for its future existence.”

Not meaning to seem obtuse, but can you explain 'what' and 'who' is it that surrenders their soul?

God is immortal and created us in His Image. Thus we are immortal souls currently clothed in physical flesh caused by The Fall into time. Our soul has a God-conscience which if we overcome it turns us into God’s enemy either as an antichrist witch or an antichrist atheist. Both God and Satan seek our immortal soul because that is the only part of us that survives. God wishes to save us. Satan only to enslave us. Our ‘self’ is our soul which must repent its denial of God before Jesus will save us. It is the desire to know God that brings our conscience back to life. If the soul is saved from that moment it has a knowledge of what is and what is not of God. Thus it is your very being that must surrender itself to Jesus and so to the exclusion of all others.

<<Keith, welcome to RF!>>

Thank you for your welcome. As you are also a new member perhaps I should return the compliment?

<<Now I am not here to judge anyone or belittle their beliefs; I am merely trying to understand various theist beliefs.>>

Not to ‘judge’ is can be very liberal as it can mean condoning evil!!

<<So out of curiosity, what exactly do angels singing sound like? This is not a sarcastic question by the way.>>

I have no words to describe the indescribable. Just consider that to describe Heaven has defeated the finest writers, artists, musicians, etc the world has known. The nearest I can say is that when great human love vibrates our soul it is but a pale imitation of Gods’.

<<Also what exactly are your psychic abilities? Can you see future events? As I say, this reply is not meant to undermine your faith, I am just curious.>>

Once Lord Jesus has cleansed a soul it no longer has the ability to contact spirits or forces not of God so I now have no psychic ability. Neither can I prophesy only confirm the truth of Jesus’ words about the devil and the fate that will befall us if we refuse Him.

Would you care to share if you were you born into an atheist family? If not who/what converted you a disbelief in God?

No, I was not born into an atheist family. My family are a mixture of Catholics and Protestants. I was raised in 2 convent schools and I was frequently scolded at school whenever I challenged anything religious I was taught; I got detention on an almost daily basis due to this, due to my curiosity.
I suppose I haven't been religious since the age of about 13 when I was taught that basically anything I do is a sin and I'd be going to Hell. Funnily enough, I didn't like that my teachers dictated my life this way, and I did not want to be told what to believe, I wanted to find out for myself. So over the next few years I studied various other religions seeing if they would suit me, but always at the back of my mind I knew I didn't believe any of it. So here I am today, still an atheist. I prefer facts over blind faith. I'm not saying what I'm doing is right or wrong, it is right for ME so I am happy with that.

Sorry to learn that you have carried your teenage rebellion into your adult life. You have thrown away the written biblical testimony of around 6,000 years the first chapter of which is the accumulated knowledge of God and Creation of tribes from all over the world who had no means of communicating with each other for many thousands of previous years. Your creed seems to be the modern one of personal happiness being more important than the accumulated knowledge of God preserved for your benefit.

Excuse me? 'Teenage rebellion'? So you are saying because I don't beileve in the same things you do, it's just a phase?
And YES. Funnily enough, personal happiness means far more to me than the religious teachings I learned at school. In fact I'm just going to leave you to it, I don't really want to be in this discussion any more, there is absolutely nothing to be gained from it. So on that note, I will leave you to your own devices.

Could you please tell me what Chucks creed is?

I don`t believe I`ve heard him state what his world view or creed is.

I must have missed something.

Since there are documented accounts of spontaneous cancer remission that don't involve spiritual healers or prayer, isn't it possible that your father could have survived the 8 years even without the healing rays?

Namaste and Welcome to RF,

I know this has little to do with the tone of your op but you do realize that Kundalini isn't an actual snake right? It's simply energy, the snake is used only as imagery to conceptualize it. Also it comes from a culture where snakes are not the animal representation of evil.

I am curious, you use your experiences as a gauge of universal truth, which is completely normal for someone who has such experiences but what do you make of people who have other profoundly positive religious experiences that are not even remotely Christian in nature?

Nope, you are entirely right, I have never one stated to Keith what my creed is. But he is correct, I would much prefer to go through life pursuing goals that make me happy rather than reading the bible.
I don't particularly understand much of what he is saying - in his first post he mentions he developed psychic powers but then in a later post he claims he lost his 'powers' when he found god. But his posts don't seem to make much sense (to me, maybe he makes sense to other people but I suspect not really) so there's not much point me trying to explain my beliefs, or lack of them, to him any further.
(Oh any by the way I'm a she not a he )

<<Since there are documented accounts of spontaneous cancer remission that don't involve spiritual healers or prayer, isn't it possible that your father could have survived the 8 years even without the healing rays?>>

A valid point but at that time cancer was only just coming to the fore as smoking had massively increased some 25 years before amongst both the armed forces and civilians caused by the stresses of the 2nd World War. We then lived in Berkshire England and my father along with all local cancer patients had been transferred to newly opened up scarlet fever isolation hospital because the doctors thought cancer was a virus spreading like wildfire through the population. My father’s surgeon told me that they couldn’t prove it but they were now convinced (having seen so many fire damaged lungs taken from cancer patients) it was smoking that was the cause and that not one doctor or nurse in that hospital now smoked. That was 55 years ago and I was horrified two or three years ago when visiting our new ‘state of the art’ hospital to find the staff dining/lounge full of doctors and nurses smoking!!

We weren’t allowed to visit my father for 3 days after the operation as lung removal for cancer was then experimental. Because my father would not have anything to do with spiritualism I didn’t tell him about the absent healing but when he was well enough to talk after being given up by the doctors after the operation, without any prompting from me he told me about a remarkable experience he had had on the first night we visited him and he couldn’t speak.

He found himself in a river of golden light struggling against the current trying to reach a golden bridge because if he could pass under it he would die and his pain would be over. Suddenly the current increased and he was driven back when he fell into a deep sleep. I asked if he had any idea what time this happened? “Just after the night nurses come on duty” he murmured drifting back to sleep. On leaving the ward I asked the staff when the night nurses came on duty. “9 o’clock” they replied. The significance is that as I sat on the healers chair to let him pass the healing power through me to my father I glanced at my watch. It was 9pm!!

When some months later the surgeon told my father that he had cancers growing at the top and bottom of his remaining lung and he would shortly die I told my father about the healing and after assuring him that the healing group had nothing to do with spiritualism he agreed to let me take him to the groups sanctuary. After a week of two of healing the doctors were astonished to find that his cancers were receding and he lived a reasonable life for about 8 years.

I did not know at that point that the healer lied to me when he told me the Great White Brotherhood had nothing to do with spiritualism. Thus two apparently miraculous healings led me into almost damnation.
