And the saddest thing is that LDS church does not have any respect for other faiths. I know that Jewish groups went to court to make LDS church stop baptising deceased jewish people... and even with court order LDS church did not first care.

With the wishes of indigenous people - well since indigenous people have no money to go to court, LDS church doesn't need to care or respect their wishes.

Sure does tell a lot about LDS.

You and I were probably subjected to very similar influences over the years but you and I have reacted very differently to those teachings. It happens.

I think you use a lot of confirmation bias though. A course in skeptical and critical thought would probably be eye opening for ya.

Then explain to us, please, why your signature contains a link to a patently NON-LDS doctrinal site (st. Birgitta???). Why is it that this thread began with you spouting the revelations of some dreamer named "Christiana"(?) whose "revelations" you revere over the doctrines of the LDS church? If you're so proud to be LDS, why do you insist on posting all these links and comments that Latter Day Saints such as myself find so bizzarre, anti-doctrinal, and even offensive? Was it Christiana who told you you're going to be "raptured" soon? It sure wasn't one of my leaders.

If Christ himself knows not the hour of his coming, how is it that you do? You need to start thinking in the Lord's time, not yours... Phrases such as, "at the door," "is nigh," and "at hand" are indefinite lengths of time. Could be 10 years, could be 1000. And for the love of Pete, stop "harkening to soothsayers" and start listening to your leaders.

Such a great video. Same thoughts that the founders had. He gives a good argument for why the Separation of church and state is needed to run a nation that accepts people of all faiths.

According to Jesus, we're to pray for our enemies, so I'll pray for Obama and all those who are on the same path to hell has he is.

After all, we are all brothers and sisters of God, in the spirit.

Is Obama said person ? I don't know but this coincides with a dream I had , and a painting I did of said dream, I am not sure why I put him in it it was a last minute descision ... I put myself in it as well , out of fairness!

I have always been jealous of those who have such artistic skill. That is a very well done piece. It's unfortunate that you chose to waste your gift on such an inane subject matter. I really feel for you people who have dreams about the rapture and whatnot. Such a shame to be so enslaved to imagined fear when there's enough real stuff to be worried about already.

I painted this because of where I think america is heading and I think we are running out of time as a nation that once stood for what was good and noble... This is not a religious painting , rather it is a statement on the decay of our once great nation .... It is full of symbolism and I would gladly discuss this with anyone genuinely interested, however it has been my experience that on most religious forums, I get ridiculed for my beliefs and thoughts.
Ironicly I have been posting on Art websites that have no religious afilliation whatsoever and have only recieved about 4 or 5 negative comments on my art out of over 500 comments.

Hi Tom,

Thanks so much for responding. I wasn't asking to ridicule, I was just interested because I know what I see when I look at it but wasn't sure If my suspicious were correct. I agree that we as a nation have gone way off course but I suspect that you and I probably disagree with what exactly what means. Regardless of that, thanks again

I do'nt mind that we disagree as long as we do it amiably.... I have a good friend who is an atheist... he owns a newspaper and he and I have had some great conversations.... he's extremely intelligent. However it's face to face conversations, much diferrent than this format.
I already had one of my post's deleted from this site for speaking my mind about my faith and it was less than 25 words .... So I'm being careful now... It seems that the non-religious are running the show now as they can say whatever and because they are not propagating a particular faith there comments are allowed regardless of there posistion or rude interaction with others!

Why would the anti-christ be characterised by peace and acceptance? Isn't this exactly what Jesus preached that people should do? Wouldn't the anti-christ be trying to create more seperation and hate and war?
