Could you tell me Maize, since you are a mother, why did you give birth to your children? For what purpose? For your own amusement? You know well that life is full of tests, that they can udergo times of joy as well as of hardships and afflictions, but you decided to procreate them nevertheless.
God, however,didn't create us for His amusement, may God forbid. He gave us honor and privilege over all His creation when He created us, for He made us His vicegerents on earth to establish good and forbid evil and to be at the level of the trust He entrusted us with.

A LITTLE off topic here but relevant. God did not create this world for His amusement. He did so, because He saw possible potential, potential to love, and to grow and to share. If God wanted amusement, He wouldn't have created the earth as it is. He did not put us on this earth to entertain Him.
He put us here for His glory, "Let your light so shine among men that they may see your good deeds and give glory to your Father in heaven" (Mt. 5:16). This is not an admonition to do God a favor. It is a command to align our lives with His eternal goal.

i didnt create my children to worship me, so i cant accept that god wants to be worshipped ,the fact is that man is the one who wants to be worshipped and followed because of his arrogance. the arrogance that hangs his face on god and denies god in all the magnificent beauty and granduer that is the undeniable god that created all we need.Firdaus Mardhatillah said:

Why worship?......good question, I guess people worship whatever they choose to worship, because humans have an lingering need for self worth, so if I had to take a crack at it I would say that people worship to give there lives purpose....being that of a "higher" purpose or whatever. That's my opinion on the matter.
