Revelation chapter 13 speaks about the Beast out of the Sea. Does anybody have and views or insight about this topic? What does the Beast out of the sea or the Beast out of the Earth represent?

Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
Revelation 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
I guess the sea beast is the Loch Ness monster - the beast out of the Earth sounds like TVOR in fancy dress!:jiggy:
Why is it 'pick on tvor' day today?
Seriously, I have no Idea, but there are the references for anyone who wishes to contribute.:)

Beast from the sea:
the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority
The beast from the earth is going to have a seat, power and great authority.

I would say the beast from the sea will be a powerful world leader.

And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast
S/He will acknowldge who gives him/her the power, and multitudes will worship.

It goes on to say that this beast will pretty much rule the world, making war against the saints, blashpeming the Lord ect. ect.

Beast from the Earth:
he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him
He will have the power of the first beast, who came before him.

He will do great wonders, and decieve the nations.

He will cause images of the first beast to speak.

He will bring the mark that everyone is afraid of.

In mho, The first beast is a world leader, and the second is his heir.

Vision 8—Revelation 13:1-18

The seven-headed wild beast, the two-horned wild beast, and the image of the wild beast so there are 3 beasts in chapter 13.

The seven heads of this wild beast stand for six major world powers featured in Bible history up to John’s day—Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome—and a seventh world power prophesied to appear later.—Compare Revelation 17:9, 10

The wild beast comes out of "the sea," which is a fitting symbol of the turbulent masses from which human government springs. (Isaiah 17:12, 13)
