Abortion

I do let God speak to me. I don't believe scripture until the spirit has confirmed what I know.

Dan, would you say that what you hear from the Holy Spirit is the same as what others hear?

Hello.

I studied some thing about abortions. I don't let anybody dicatate me to what to think. I came to this conclusion abortion is wrong. But I'm no liberal. But I don't go around bombing abortion clinics. The women have free will and so is politicians and electors of them. I can't force you what to think. I think babies is cute and a blessing to everybody involved. I think abortion is wrong. I don't go to church any more and is looking for one. Abortion alway make the mother guilty, regretting a lot.
Any body heard of Newton? The scientist? His mother tried to abort him but she decided not to. He grew up to be a great scientist, inventing word for gravity. He worked hard to find out the laws of gravity. It is to Newton we are grateful for the understanding of gravity.
It is my belief that abortion is wrong. Geniuses is made in birth, gifted by God to do something well. Whether English or American, you are talented.
I came to this conclusion when I heard about the "abortion" part of the Newton story. I am gifted with talents in English, cartooning and reading. So are you with your unique talent So, abortion is wrong. How else you and me would be alive? Think about this, if you think it is wrong, good. Or, you believe abortion is good for you,uh oh! You choose.

Dan, I think you've touched on the greastest problem with religion - nobody else can tell if you've tapped the right source.

"If what they hear is really the spirit and not themselves or another source, yes."

What if everyone else is thinking the exact same thing as you? I deal with spirits everyday, almost 24/7. And I can tell you that what scripture says does not go along with the spirits. But that is my perception of what the spirits do, how they act, what my spirit guides tell me, etc... There are many different kinds of spirits. What you may think is the holy spirit may be some spirit that tells you one thing, while another is telling me something else. Who is right? We both are. Why? Because we both believe it with all our hearts. But if we both are right? Who can be wrong?? I would say, everyone is right to themselves, but wrong to everyone else.

Just my personal belief. People are the faith. They are everything about it, every voice, every holy writing, every piece.

A religion is based on faith. And with no faith, there is no religion. You may have faith in God and believe that to be right, but what if you, nor anyone else knew of the monotheistic god that you speak of?

In religion, truth and faith are the same thing. Then again, just my crazy ranting.

I don't neccessarily think it is evil, but I believe that it is the woman's choice on to have an abortion or to not have an abortion.

urge your legislators to enact laws to protect the mother's who are wanting an abortion, by requiring screening for possible physical and psychological risks. right now they just counsel them for 5-15 minutes and don't screen them or warn them of possible side effects. also encourage your legislators to prolong the malpractice responsibilities to 15 years instead of the present 2 years, as the effects don't sometimes appear until that length of time.

I gave up on free choice of the women to abort after seeing the babies's limbs torn apart with out anathesia. I'm not joking. This is serious stuff. Anybody who saw the photos and still coming out with the undiluted lie of "It's the right of women to abort. Leave them alone" have to be very sick indeed. I've been in operations before but that is nothing compared to fate of these poor babies who is KILLED by the doctor and get their limbs torn apart and fed to animals!! Sicko doctors indeed! I didn't wish to see these photos. I would advise you not to follow me in doing this stuff til you're older maybe till 20 not the ordinary 18. How I wish I didn't see these photos til I'm 20!
But for your info here is the link. There is black and white indeed.

Warning: digusting photos of headless and gutted babies as result of abortions.

There is no "potential human beings" or "blob"! There is real humans who is being murdered!!!!!

A few facts re: abortion. Less than than 1% of all abortions are performed after 21 wks gestation (that is within the 2nd trimester period). The photos that anti-abortionists use are from extremely rare instances when abortions are performed in the third and last trimester becuase of danger to a mother's life or in the cases of severe fetal abnormalities (ie: anenocephaly...no brain...when the baby is born it lives only a few excruciating hours, if that long).

In regards to gruesome descriptions and photos: How about photos or descriptions of illegal abortions that result in the mutilation of the woman and/or their death? Isn't the life of the woman equally important as the pre-born?

Lastly, I would couch the abortion issue in another manner: Does the state have the right to force a woman to bring a child into this world against her will?

I suggest that you look at pictures of Anenocephaly(as already mentioned a lack of the top of the head and brain), Exomphalos (a hole in the abdominal wall that allows the intestines to leak out of the body cavity) and most especally 'Harlequin Fetus' (too terrible to discribe) before you decide to make such an absolute decision.
There are many terrible and fatal things that can go wrong and cant be detected untill late in the pregnancy.
Do you force those children to die in cruel agony, while thier parents wait in thier own torment?
Is a quick death less humane than 'letting nature take its cource' wich incedentally can take days/hours of slow starvation/suffocation/infection.

The decision the parents of such children face is hard enough without the added pain of having people decry them as murderers/monsters.

They felt terrible and violated and bitter. One was raped and one was forced to have a abortion. Their stories are tragic and bitter but God helped them. Please stop the terrible practice. One after having a abortion said she couldn't look at kids because that reminded her of the abortion.
This is proof that the abortion is EVIL and ruin women's lives forever.
However, God will forgive you and these women.

I have come to my own personal conclusion that abortion is acceptable in the situations that painted wolf described and others similar to it. If a delivery will kill both mother and child, it is alright. If the baby will not be able to survive, it is alright. If the mother's life is at risk, but the baby could be saved, I think the decision should be up to the mother herself.

Abortion can be used as a positive medical tool to prevent unecessary suffering for the mother or baby. I still hold very strongly, however, that it is terribly wrong for a healthy mother to abort her healthy baby, and I think the state has every right to step in and protect that baby until it is born, at which time it can be taken away for adoption.

In reply to painted wolf,
These mother is human and the child is too. They are a confused and little heard voice in the world and they're not monsters but the sin of abortion is so terrible it is said "God hate abortion and child sacrifices and it is so terrible it never entered His divine mind. He loves these women a lot but He can't stand abortion and child sacrifices." I don't consider these women monsters but the black and white side of it is that abortion is BAD and EVIL. I love babies alot and the mother too. They (women and child) need listening to, you must dencoune the sin of abortion then listen to these mother who grieved on their dead. It's very sad, abortion. Common but little heard of. I beg you, abortion ruin lives. Stop it, be part of the solution. These abortions take a long time to recover from. Now what do you think?

Question: Should the government limit abortion to those dire circumstances described above and, for all other circumstances, force the woman to remain pregnant and bear a child against her will?

Send the child to be adopted if you don't want to raise it or raise it but not abort!

I would guess by your response that you believe that a woman should be forced to bring a child into the world against her will.

I disagree with you wholeheartedly but I appreciate your honesty. Thanks for the input. Any others out there care to respond to the question....I am interested in what you all think.

I think that a healthy woman carrying a healthy baby should be made to bear her child. To me, once a baby is conceived, it becomes potential life. I think the baby should be considered 'living' after 26 weeks or so, because it is capable of surviving outside of the womb at that period.

Anyhow, back to potential life. Pam Stenzel is one of the leading sex-ed speakers for teens today. She travels around the country giving talks to schools and the like. I have been priveledged enough to see her, and can attest that she is one of the most moving and interesting speakers I have ever seen. She really knows how to get through to kids. One story that she tells during her presentation, is that of her conception and birth. She was conceived through rape. She tells of how her mother wanted to abort her, and even set up an appointment, but that she backed out at the last moment, and decided to carry her child to term and then put her up for adoption.

All I could think of after I heard this story, was what would things be like if Pam had been aborted?? Pam has helped so many kids all over the country and preaches a very important and inspiring message. How would things be different if she had never been given a chance?

I encourage you to check out her website www.pamstenzel.com . I would also encourage you to try and get ahold of one of her videos--not because I think you need sex-ed, but so that you can see what an absolutely moving speaker she is.

Pam is but one example, but this is what crosses my mind in response to your question. I believe that human life is sacred. I believe that once a child is conceived, the mother owes full responsibility to it's safety and well-being. I believe that every healthy fetus has the potential of becoming a healthy baby and then a healthy contributing member of society. How many future presidents have been aborted already? Do you see what I'm saying here?

I just think that a baby is too important to be labeled as a mere choice. I think women treat abortion as they would a decision of whether or not to get plastic surgery or something.

I also think it would be a good idea for the state to set up special programs to help unwanting mothers get back on their feet after they've had their baby and put it up for adoption, or kept it themselves. I understand how life-altering an unwanted baby can be, and with help like that, women wouldn't be desiring abortion because they see no hope in the future.
