I was just sitting here wondering about the end and iam interested in hearing some of your opinions about what you think is going to happen at the end of time?

I'm not an expert on the subject, but I don't think time can end. we just won't always be measuring it.

I predict the end of the world will happen when it gets pulled into the sun. All life could end on it, but that is not an end to the world. But of course, it doesn't matter to me. I don't know, nor should I know. So why worry?

Its a fact that in 3 billion years from now we will be so far away from the sun that there will be nothing but darkness so i dout us being pulled in to the sun

Thats contrary to what I've read. The suns gravitational pull is bringing us closer to it. And not only is the sun pulling on the earth, the earth is also pulling on the sun.

since we have been sneezed out by the Great Celestial Presence, I am just waiting for the holy handkerchief to wipe us all away. Achoo! just kidding. we, in our utter incompetence as children of the earth, are going to deplete the ozone, whereupon we will live under ground forever (or at least until the ozone regenerates, if it does) or we will be burned up because the ozone is no longer there to protect us. or the polar icecaps will melt, where we will have to grow fins and gills and literally start sleeping with the fishes. Or, the most probable one is the U.S. will provoke nuclear war, and the world will be a radioactive ball, and then the cockroaches will mutate and become supremeley intelligent humanoid insects

End of the world . . hmm . . i think we'll start screwing around with quantum physics and accidently set off some gigantic chain reaction thats splits all matter in two . . or . . not.

Hail Satan, do you know what force is making the Earth spiral out of the Sun's orbit?
I am also sceptical of the idea that the Earth will be pulled into the Sun. This is possible of cause but only because the Earth is on a 'wobbly' orbit so a significant enough impact at the right point might send us tumbling into the sun like an asteroid but this would be a quick, not gradual, happening. Its far more likely that the Sun will simply expand and engulf the Earth as it swells in size as its fuel supply begins to run out.
There are 3 accepted theories on how the end of the universe will happen. These are fairly complex to explain but they all result in either a big crunch or an infinite expansion in which atoms are eventually isolated from each other making any sort of interaction impossible.
