Adam And Eve

For those of you who beleive that Adam and Eve were indeed the first humans, I am just curious if you also believe that they had belly buttons? If you can explain too, that would be great.

If you think you can answer that, I should further question the origin of the people of Nod?

Well, if you don't believe that Adam and Eve were indeed the first humans, obviously somebody else was. Do you think whomever that may have been had a belly button? As far as I can see, the question is the same regardless of whom the first person was.

You are right, there did have to be a beginning, or the first human, and of course they had belly buttons. Just trying to understand how theists think, even when simple questions are put before them. Thats all.

If Adam (a name meaning "first man") and Eve (a name meaning "first wo-man") were to have had belly buttons then they were to have had embilical chords--resulting as them being born of another, and thus not the first.

Right they would....but Eve was a play on words from the dieties that Nin.mah had created to heal the 7 wounds she inflicted on EN.Ki for playing around with man's creation and creating monster like beings, so she made illness befall him nad then was pleaded by another god to heal the dying En.Ki from that pain that Nin.mah caused him. One of hhis ailing parts was a rib and the deity she created was (now its getting vague, im forgetting this myth, sheesh) it was a healing diety for his RIB, then she was called Nin.Ti the lady of the rib, or something, and that kinda get translated in Eve, later, I forget how, i could cheat and go a researching my text library, just tired now HEHE

Trivial as it is, I've heard the theory that Adam & Eve didn't have belly buttons, because they never had umbilical cords. Makes sense, when you think about it.

IMHO ~ IF God had created Man then for the man to pass all the proper DMA information to the next generation it seems logical for God to have created Man with a E-cord. arlan

I don't believe the Adam myth ~ but No - there wasn't a placenta because this organ is formed by the host, but the U-cord would have to be on the first man so the mans DNA would have it in it to start the second child etc., if it were a real story. arlan
