Thumbs down on Evolution

Thumbs down on Evolution

I have heard that we are once again about to have another big epidemic of evolution fever once again breaking out in our country, I have heard that it shall first break out in the great state of Kansas. This shall once again be coming out of our already Satan infected schools, which have already been very infected from Satan own corruption.
This is a very dangerous contagious disease, only with Satan sowing his very contagious seeds of destruction. This is only with us going by their own theory of nothing but a hand full of rocks and dirt, and also a few circulars left in the earth from the great flood of Noah, which they claimed took millions and millions of years to make.

Going only by their theory of nothing but a hand full of rocks and dirt, I would not have been unable to believe that it was Columbus that had discovered America, I would still be thinking that this earth was flat from their hand full of rocks. I would still be waiting around for the monkeys to come along and show me the many ways of destruction.
But now with something that was invented like writing and prophecy, that is known as history I know about the Godhead, with the many things that have been handed down from God. I never heard of any monkey doing any kind of writing from any kind of understanding in their many years of existence, but only the prophecy and writings of God much over our many thousands of years.

We also find many that believe that our schools should teach nothing but science the science of evolution. When we are supposed to be teaching our children something, which might give them a better tomorrow. We know that their life here on earth will be very short, when it comes to comparing it with what shall become their eternal life – which shall be permanent and shall last forever.
The science of evolution is much like someone living within a giant globe, with the wisdom of man coming only from on the inside, with only a portable light of vision, in which man can now only get a dim reflection of where they are now living within. His faith is only from what they can now only witness on the inside of this giant globe; he cannot see or witness what is beyond or even around him in this giant globe.

They cannot see or witness what is now beyond this globe; that they do not now have the knowledge of understanding. They do not know what exist on the outside of where they are now floating, they know nothing about what is within this universe, and they cannot see what exist outside of their own great globe.
Then for the ones that believes in God, which is to them their one and only great creator. They can look and see this great light outside and beyond this great globe; they can see and witness this great universe; and also this great creation that has been created by God – and also by even looking upon our great God Himself.

This is a world of light, which is coming only from within our great Godhead that we can find this great light of wisdom, a light that shall become eternal. It would be much better for our children to study creation, than evolution for when they die. When they find that there had been nothing but this big boom, then they wouldn’t have lost anything.
Then when they are being taught nothing but evolution and die, then if they should then come before this great Godhead, which is sitting upon his high throne. Then they would have lost everything, for then they will find themselves wondering in a great wilderness – of nothing but fire and brimstone for all of their eternity.

For I would rather believe in God, for then when I die and find nothing but a big boom, for then I would only find nothing but darkness for all of my eternities. Then also after being taught nothing but evolution and die, then finding a God of judgment. With this creation being something that man has not taught me, in our schools, churches, or at home.
Then I shall not be able to find anything, but torment for all of my great eternity, this will also be with the ones that had also taught me, and then we everyone will have to face this great punishment together – which shall never end.

Evolution is a scientific question, not a theological one.

Christians have been adapting biblical interpretation to be scientifically accurate since Gallileo discovered that the earth is not the center of the universe, and Christians began to realize that the Bible was never intended to be a science book, but rather a theological reflection: a revelation of God's character. If the Bible is a science book, then science can prove it wrong or right, and the Bible does not have a good track record: it records an unscientific world view on every count. It teaches a flat-earth cosmology, that women are barren (eg, Sarah and Hannah - men are typically the ones that have a low sperm count and therefore should be blamed for a childless marriage), and some people think that evolution and biblical theology are mutually exclusive and continue to fight against the discoveries of science. However, where the Bible speaks of God, science cannot interfere because science cannot test God.

The Bible is here to answer theological questions, not scientific ones. The Bible does not teach science - it has no scientific methods and it promotes uneducated ancient worldviews. The Bible does claim to be a record of the revelation of God's character and purpose for humanity, and provides answers to theological questions.

I am thankful that scientists don't have to learn Greek and Hebrew and biblical interpretative methods in order to do their job. I would rather researchers be good at scientific experimentation: I am thankful that medical researchers study the evolution of viruses and bacteria to develop newer, effective drugs. However, I do wish that folks in the South would learn some interprative technique so that they would stop trying to answer scientific questions with theology -- the South is the last frontier for this practice.

Did you write everything on your website? I may want to discuss somethings with you on another thread sometime...

oh my, satan has infiltratred our schools! oh no! Hes spreading the "false" word of evolution! he's taking christianity from its wrongful place to a place where it belongs; churches! he's teaching a more logical theory and shunning one that has no base in reality! Oh no! He's planted his seads of reason, and removed the ones of hate and intolerance. and guess what else, he's also taken prayers out of school! its so terrible, i think ill go gut myself right now! all the students are going to burn with Lucifer because they dont believe in your meanlingless dogma! I want to cry.

when you have a slightly reasonable argument against evolution, come talk to me.

Quite irregardless of whether or not evolution is the spawn of Satan, it happens to be true.

Unfortunately, Satan has infiltrated our churches. He has decieved many who claim to believe in God into thinking that the truth of evolution is a lie and somehow is set against Christianity. In doing so, he has succeeded in turning the focus to fighting a fool's battle instead of the church's real focus: Loving people into the Kingdom of God. Please complete this statement:

"They will know you are my disciples by your____________________________________________"

I bet you didn't even consider "hate of evolution" or "intolerance for others"??? Or did you?

Tawn... your statement bothers me considerably. Might I suggest that you are spineless for not playing in the middle of your busiest highway during rush hour "because youre scared of the consequences"??? Or do you think those who refuse to play Russian Roulette as spineless "because youre scared of the consequences"??? Sometimes, fear is the beginning of wisdom. The lack of fear (or respect) is usually the start of most tragedies.

There are a few (Million) in every bunch. I have no problem with "Invisible man worshippers" wanting to teach ID in schools, as long as its not in SCIENCE class. As its PHilosophy NOT Science. I do think its funny that you call the Theory of Evolution (Satan) You made my day, I needed a laugh and that was funny. Teach them both in school, one in scince class and the other in philosophy class, let the kids decide, they'll know Fact from Fiction, as long as they are given both sides arguments and in full.

Ok Gcront, you win. How could I be so foolish not to see this?

It is indeed Satan that is causing fewer people to have wisdom teeth as the generations pass. It must also be that sneaky devil that gave snakes and whales the remnants of hip bones. I propose that we immediately change the terms 'vestigial organs' and 'vestigial structure' to 'Satanic organs' and 'Satanic structure' :jam: :biglaugh:

Well Herbert - out of respect for your age (74 for those that don't follow the link to his webpage), I will refrain from my initial response.

I will say that I find your post, and your position, to be based exclusively on ignorance of what evolution is, and from whence it arises.

Theory of gravity for instance
It's been awhile since I've been in science class, but I seem to remember it called the LAW of Gravity, and I think I was taught that there is a distinct difference between theory and law. Neither can a theory be called a fact, because facts can be proven, theories can't.

It would appear that you weren't paying attention even when you were in science class.

Like I said, it's been awhile since I've been in a science class - but anyway - I've been doing some reading up and I stand by my statement. Please explain what you disagree with, and why, Voice of Reason.

Newton's Laws aren't proven. Boyle's and Charle's Laws cannot possible be proven. Neither is the Ideal Gas Law proven. No Law is proven, all are theories. The Laws have just been around long enough to become generally accepted without controversy.

The neat little distinctions between hypothesis, theories, and laws are something you more often find high school science teachers making, than you find professional scientists making.

The LAW of Gravity is nothing more than the THEORY of Gravity, after it has been widely accepted. It has been widely accepted because millions of times each day, it is validated by our experiences.

There is much confusion about the use of the terms law, theory, and hypothesis when speaking in terms of science.
In layman’s terms, if something is said to be “just a theory,” it usually means that it is a mere guess, with no evidence to support it. An example of this would be the "theory that JFK is still alive". This type of theory is nothing more than speculation, with little or no supporting evidence. In scientific terms, a theory implies that something has been proven and is generally accepted as being true - at least, it is accepted by the scientific community after being peer reviewed and much evidence has been gathered.

To a scientist, these three terms have their own definition:

Hypothesis: an educated guess based on past experience. It is a rational explanation of a phenomenon based upon what is observed, but which has not been proved. Most hypotheses can be supported or refuted by experimentation or continued observation. An example of a hypothesis would be - "I think the grass is green because frogs walk on it." Or, "I think the grass must contain some agent that gives it a green color".

Scientific Law: is a statement of fact meant to explain, in concise terms, an action or set of actions. A "law" is generally accepted to be true and universal, and can sometimes be expressed as a mathematical equation. Scientific laws are similar to mathematical postulates. They don’t really need any complex external proofs; they are accepted at face value based upon the fact that they have always been observed to be true. The Law of Gravity is an example. The truth is, even a scientific "law" is open to change, if enough evidence to the contrary were to be forthcoming.

Theory: is much closer to a scientific law than a hypothesis. A theory is an explanation of a set of related observations or events based upon hypotheses that have been evidenced and verified multiple times. Some examples of scientific theories would be the Theory of Relativity and the Theory of Evolution.

Generally speaking, both a scientific theory and a scientific law are accepted to be true by the scientific community as a whole (although you can always find a flake that will intentionally misrepresent anything that impedes their agenda). They are both used to make predictions of events (i.e. solar eclipse) and both are used to advance mankind's knowledge base (i.e. medical technology).

The biggest difference between a law and a theory is that a theory is much more complex and dynamic. A law governs a single action, whereas a theory explains a whole series of related phenomena.

Scientists will always "fine tune" the component hypotheses of each theory in an attempt to make them more accurate, or to make them more robust. Theories can be tweaked, but they are rarely, if ever, entirely replaced (I am unaware of any).

Truth be told, Octurne, it's been a while since I was in a science class as well. But the confusion usually comes when one of these three terms is used to describe a scientific position, but in layman's terms.

I agree, Sunstone, but the high school teacher is trying to educate young minds that must learn the distinction in terms. The professional scientist works in a lab, surrounded by colleagues that are all fully aware of the true meaning of the terms. Hence, the professional scientist never needs to raise the issue.

I never heard of any monkey doing any kind of writing from any kind of understanding in their many years of existence,
Yes, the monkeys' performance has been unsatisfactory indeed. Kill them all.

We also find many that believe that our schools should teach nothing but science the science of evolution. What's the purpose of a better tomorrow if life on Earth is short anyhow? The minute you actually learn something on this ol' rock, you die, am I right? Teach the kids marijuana cultivation. That'll at least keep them numb and happy until they can go to heaven.

The science of evolution is much like someone living within a giant globe, with the wisdom of man coming only from on the inside, with only a portable light of vision, in which man can now only get a dim reflection of where they are now living within. The satellites are all highly offended by this statement.

and also by even looking upon our great God Himself.
Heh, heh--you guys can have all of that that you want, but I'll pass. I hear that stuff'll kill ya!

This is a world of light, which is coming only from within our great Godhead that we can find this great light of wisdom, a light that shall become eternal. It would be much better for our children to study creation, than evolution for when they die. When they find that there had been nothing but this big boom, then they wouldn’t have lost anything.
Actually, I don't see how one can get an advantage either way. Seems to me that when you die, afterlife or no, the "origin of the Earth" is a pretty unpopular topic. On the other side, I bet its all about the "origin of Heaven." Divine Inspiration, or not?

For I would rather believe in God, for then when I die and find nothing but a big boom, for then I would only find nothing but darkness for all of my eternities. Then also after being taught nothing but evolution and die, then finding a God of judgment. With this creation being something that man has not taught me, in our schools, churches, or at home.
This would also happen if this "god" character turns out to be Thor or Zeus or any of them. If that happened, it would be so ironic, and I wouldn't be able to help but to laugh at you. No hard feelings though, friend--you gotta admit, its a funny situation!
