A Catholic View On The Future

The world is about herald a rebirth and re-evangelization of the world. The Holy Spirit Choose John Paul II to help end Communism. Now the Holy Spirit chooses Bennedict to help end Paganism, Modernism and Apathy. We must rebuild this Church with him in the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi. Start with ourselves then with others.

Hi Paul, Namaste.
I notice that this is your first post, and would like to welcome you to the forum. It would be nice if you could tell us a little about yourself, so we can 'see' you.:)

That's an interesting view. I personally think that Benedict XVI's most important contribution may be reaching out to younger Catholics and continuing to reach out to other religions and parts of the world.

Not to be rude but, tbh I think Pope Benidict XVI will be better than Pope John Paul II

Now just hold on before you start yelling!!!

I just think Our Pope now is going to enforce the "laws" more in a strict way. Not saying that John didnt but when we did somthing against it he just did his little smile and wave that everyone liked, so that nobody knew.

Now im hoping our pope now will be like the old school teachers that would hitcha with rulers

now this is just my opinion and remember im just 14 so dont get mad.
I dont dislike John Paul if your thinking that (I have pictures in my locker at school and in my room xD)

We can only hope and prey that he will fit his place. Papal comparisons can not be done though, weather or not you believe that one Pope is more potentious than another is just a great sign of you wanting things to continuously improve.

Im glad to see JPII continue his journey. I think he was with us longer than his stengths could keep up with the political end of his position. But I firmly believe he was in place just in time for his predecessor Benedict XVI to fufil his life as a Cardinal.

Someone made an interesting comment to me about their hope in his comming. They mentioned the time where Atilla the Hun invaded Italy in 452 destroying endless cities until Pope Leo asked him to stop. There when Atilla went to see Pope St. Leo I and Atilla the Hun did not fear the Pope, stood massive angels with swords of fiery on each side of the Pope(which Pope Leo did not see) and Atilla the Hun gave his word to the Pope, he left Italy and headed back twords the Alps. Pope Leos biggest goals were to hold the Church together. Its a beautiful story and very powerful---Comparing it with some of the shared views of Joseph Ratzinger, who seems to be extreemly humble and passionate about the current state of the Church.
