Gamers questions..

When you want to start a new game for the third or fourth time, you do not really want to spend ten minutes waiting for a cutscene you don't want to watch finish.

Is it the same for you when you watch a movie for the third or fourth time?

I do not buy video games to watch movies.
If I want to watch a movie, I would buy a movie.

Perhaps that is just me, though...

Ah, I see. I guess I just like the cut scenes as much as the gameplay, which is why I'm a fan of FFVII and FFX. Maybe that's just me, though.

FFX-2 was really bad, though. Charlie's Angels much?

Besides, there are no recources spilled by adding the function "skip" to the startbutton. Unless the cutscenes also hold part of the loading..

The reason I watch movies and the reason why I play games are completely different. The third or fourth time I'm repeating a game is for the gameplay itself.

And all I want is the option to skip the cutscenes. It would leave you free to watch every single cutscene, no matter how boring you think it is.

And if I decided to play through FFX again, although there are some good cut-scenes in the game, there are also cut scenes like the whistle scene Luca, the Tidus/Yuna scene at Mi-hen Highroad, the scene at Zanarkand... No, I wouldn't want to watch them again.

Ah man, anybody remember the cardridge.. What a time.. Click, work, no loading!

Don't get me started about cartridges. My GBA cartridges of Pokemon have to be in the gameboy "just-so" in order to work properly, otherwise it won't register at all.

Hmm...Yeah. I always enjoyed being able to wander around and do my own thing.

So far, Oblivion is the only one I've played, and I'm pretty much in love with it. Although a friend has a copy of Morrowind and has promised to let me borrow it :D

You may not like Morrowind now. Oblivion is better in just about every category. These two are the sorts of games you must play sequentially. I've seen a couple of people try it in this order, and I've not seen a one finish Morrowind, which is sad, because it was a great game (bugs excepted).

A friend of mine is a huge fan of Morrowind....Likes it much better than Oblivion.
From what I've heard of the game play, there are a ton of differences (especially in the way the character/world levels and such)....but I'm the kind of person that will probably enjoy it anyways :D

That's good, because it was an excellent game, and I hope you do. Bethesda does some good work.

Another RPG to try is Arx Fatalis. If you don't get the bug I got, and I've not met anyone else who has, then that game is quite fun as well.

Had a war match the other night. Played drunk. Good times were had screaming at the 16-22 yr olds down my mic explaining that they were being 'tards.

More of the same Sunday night only this time with a different team so hopefully less young uns and tards :)
