Why is it that the pope has the power to change what is in the bible?
Doesn't the bible say somthing about this?
Why does the pope behave and is treated like god on earth doesn't the bible also say somthing about this?
With all the poverty that goin on in the world wouldn't it make sense for the pope and his other colleages to live a less luxuries lifestyle?
After all the bible does say the soul that a sins shall die and since the pope is raised up and admired as been so holy that catholics feel it appropriate to worship this dieing MAN.
Please answear my question because I to am preparing to go to heavan?

He does not have the authority to alter Scripture, nor has he done so. He does have the authority over issues of doctrine, as given by Christ.

That's your view, not the majority of Christians. There are certain historical issues that personally I am unhappy with, but I pray for change.

Yes - that's part of the historical problem.

Catholics admire and perhaps venerate, but do not worship the pope.

The Pope is a servant of God. The dignity of the office is worthy of respect, just as a government would treat a foreign leader..... that is not treatment like a god, is it?

I suppose we all could give more, but to call the Papacy a "luxuries lifestyle" :roll: is kinda off.......
I am sure that you have more money than he does.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Your mother and father will die as well, should you not admire and love them because of their mortality?

Catholics do not worship the man, we worship the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
