Slept late, checked e-mail, balanced checkbooks, picked up parent's mail since they're out of town, folded some clothes, ate some stuff here and there, and had a movie night with my loving wife.:) Posted some stuff here and a couple other sites where I lurk, petted and fed the kitties, and headed for the bed. Zzzzzzz. Have a good night.

Good night, Captain! Sweet dreams!

You know, it's so slow around here this Saturday evening that I think it would be a good idea if everyone howled ~just to perk things up a bit. I'll start off:

AAAAARRROOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I feel much better now.

Cut the grass in the front (More aptly the large patch of weeds that is supposed to be a lawn), did some weeding, cleaned off all the growth from between bricks, slabs etc....I was going to spend just 1/2 hour cutting the grass, but it ended up being a 3 hour job! Of course, as soon as I stopped, and the adrenaline stopped, I was is very bad pain.
Had a warm bath, something to eat and a two hour siesta. At the end, I still felt like I'd had beem run over by a bus, But at least the front of the house looks presentable!!!:jiggy:

got up 8 a.m. ate otameal. went to my weekend job. told my co-worker that if 2nd hand smoke was worse than first hand smoke than the same applies to second hand drinking..which is why i never go to a bar and not drink. (for the record i only drink like once every two months...was a joke).

l learned about bingo halls...and decided i don't want to experince them on the grounds they are too boring...

I read part of a chapter of a book i bought on dna and gene replication...my ex gf was studying genetics and i am now hooked on it after she dumped..unfortunetly i science stupid so it is a slow process....

a co-worker asked me what i was reading so i told him about the book to which he commented immediatly "well that doesn't conflict with my faith" (out of the blue he said this --i didn't know he believed in god until that moment)...I sarcastically thought "good thing to know that reality doesn't conflict with your beliefs" ...i was smart enough not to articulate that.

I met a famous football player named roy williams who played wide reciever for UT (texas) and now plays pro-ball..ironically i don't know anything about football or care but he was really a nice guy.

I worked on a drag step palm strike combo with a newer guy and worked it into setting up the throw osoto garai while using by using the palm stike combos and faking one than shooting in for the throw instead of throwing it.

I talked to my old friend jerome who is visiting from houston. he is in his 3rd year of pharmacy school down there but is orignially from austin. i met his brother today.

I talked to one of my neighbors for the first time named ashley. She and her husband live acorss the street and she was asking me about kids "ghost knocking" I said they had not at my home...I played with her 2 mixed blood blue heelers and told her about dog walking paths
nearby.

I played with dog and ate supper with him (we eat supper at the same time ususally).

i surfed the net and read emails sent to me....one email was from my friend in sydney australia.

I ate really unhealty for supper drank too much soda than set out a suit for tomarrow and some shorts and t-shirt for training in the park tomarrow.

I was at the BSA Council Office today at 7:30 setting up a training session for the Fall Woodbadge Course. I assisted with the technical aspects of that all day and when it was over at 5:30 I headed out to pick up a server that I have to reload for this weekend. I am currently downloading ALL of the data off of the hard drives. Tomorrow, I will install larger drives (I'm missing church :( ) reload the operating system, reload the data (including the information store and Sql Data Base) and then redeploy the server, configure all of the workstations and test it all by 9:00 am Monday morning. :D

Woke up at 8 a.m., lounged in bed until 11 a.m. (along with my husband and 12 year old) watching SG-1 DVD's. Then went shopping at Sam's Club and took some stuff down to the homeless shelter. Spent the rest of the day just lounging around reading and watching more SG-1's with my husband while my son was over his Nanner's with the cuzzies. A very lazy day.

Ah, today is now tomorrow. Helped clean the house, cleaned windows both in and out, did the washing up & putting away after eating lunch with Marie. I shall make her a cup of tea at 16.30, and take it to her in our bedroom; she is having a siesta.:)

Since this was posted yesterday, I'll tell what I did then.

I got up about 6:30, ate breakfast, and went to take the ACT until 12:40. :areyoucra My brain was fried for the rest of the day.

Isn't it nice to have it out of the way though? :)

Went to bed about 3:00 AM after doing the "mod thing" at RF. Slept till 6AM (normal for me) when I took meds for a slight infection. On and off line intermittently on RF interspersed with browsing the books I recently bought. Checked my surgical wound when I changed my shirt to a sweatshirt. Still cold, so I built a fire and took a nap on the couch. Awake now and getting ready to take my heart meds and find something to eat for lunch while watching my diet.

Today I woke up in a stranger's home!!! Hehe, it was actually a sleepover. Went to church, dropped a friend off at home afterwards... I'm now going to have a yummy bagel for lunch, write a scholarship essay, clean up around the house a bit, do some math homework, then enjoy the wonderful weather with a picnic on the riverwalk with some friends! I'm very excited!

Gosh, it must be nice not to work on Saturdays! I worked 9:30 AM to 6 PM, then went with my roommate and some siblings to see the movie Sahara at 7:30.

I went to church this morning---service at 10:30. Then headed over to my grandmother's house, for lunch with my family, grandparents, and a few relatives, to celebrate my grandparents' birthdays. It was a beautiful time, on a beautiful day. I love family get-togethers---they are such precious times. We also decided, while at my grandmothers', that my 23-year-old brother and his fiancee are going to get married in her ( my grandmother's ) backyard. I don't know why any of us didn't think of it sooner---it will be perfect! So some of us stood outside figuring out how to arrange everything, after lunch was over.

Later in the afternoon, I took a drive. I often take Sunday-afternoon drives when the weather is really pretty. So I rolled down my car windows, opened the sun-roof, and took a long drive out into some beautiful Virginia countryside. I took a route I'd never been on before, and it was fantastic. Just drove, admired the scenery, and daydreamed. Mmmmmm.....perfect day so far!!:D

And now, here I am.

Well here goes today Sunday:

Woke up around 8 (which is usual to me).. Came online and visited my usual sites.. Then went to Krystal Burger for lunch, watched the rest of Hoffa the movie with my lady.. Took a shower and friend called me to go sit by the pool and hang out (and have some beer :) ) then we rode around in his jeep, went to Hooters (yes the food sucks) then came home home and now I'm surfing the net once again, but fixing to go watch some TV.

THE END.
