Jean-Marie Lustiger: Second Jewish Pope? After Peter?

I'm in a sea of doubts. I understand that being Jewish implies a religion, but do they mean that he is racially Jewish?

I'm not anti-Jewish. I'm not a hatemonger. I just want to clarify it for myself. Never thought about it before. It's amusing to me that antisemites blame the Jews for everything. That's all their mental capacities are aimed to. WHat do they mean by a Jewsih Pope?

They would say that this person born to Jewish parents who converted to Catholicism is part of a larger conspiracy for the Jews to control the world.
I don't know enough about the guy...from what i've been able to determine he's just another convert to catholicism who happens to have Jewish roots...

That would be Jesus. oops Jesus is the shepherd and bishop of our souls. not in Rome but everywhere by his spirit, in every member of the body.
