It was hitler who persecuted the Jews because they (acccording to the flesh) will always be superior to all races because they brought forth the MESSIAH ( from Judah) through the prophets. It took a whole race distinct from all others to bring the MESSIAH into the world. And the tribe of Judah which is (praise) not the Law such as Levi which keepeth the oracles and all the law. Judah is praise the Lord tribe, for the Lion (Christ) came from the exclusiveness of this tribe by the Law or the prophets. No other race of people will ever!!!! bring such a great gift to the inhabitants of the world. For this purpose I condemn all people who ever persecuted them. This spirit came not from the apostles neither KIng Jesus but is anti-christ. Paul did not Hate the Jews of his generation neither any other his harsh speeches were against them who opposed him even as he opposed Stephen whose blood he shed toghether with all them that heard him that day. Paul's warnings was for them who did not see the Romans coming to destroy the Temple even as Jesus said and warned.

Neither Hitler nor any nationalist will ever acheive what the Jews have done. This include Americans. From now on I will spell those "christians" who kill with a k like kristian. So that the difference can be seen. Maybe the ku klux klan was trying to tell us something (kill kill kill) with the flaming cross as it's symbol. Which also is the mark of the beast. Didn't Constatine use the Sign of the cross to kill. Isn't there a distinct difference between the christians who were the apostles fruits (like the apostles they lay down their life) the Kristians after Konstatine killed all that opposed Kristianity and they received the mark of the beast in their right hand even as they do to this day.
Now I'm glad that I have none of the traditions of them who lived in the dark ages for in them is no light. Their darkness is known in all the world today.

There are many belifes and to say that I am a choosen one or someone speacial because of what I believe in would be prideful and that is a sin. If our belifes are not the same hey who am I to tell you yours are not right.? I know what I believe and I stand by it , but
I will not put down others for there belifes or even if they believe in nothing at all. Everyone has a choice and each will make his or her own.

Now, is it more important to be selfish, egotistical, bigoted, and think you are gods chosen?
Or is it more important to be humble?

There are no "chosen ones", only good choosers.

Maybe each person has to feel he/she is chosen so that person will find the Divine within. Feeling you are chosen causes you to deal with ego. When you have dealt with ego you then find the Divine within.

) But what I was going to say was what if the Trinity you speak of is a false one. Interpreted by a people who believed women were inferior in every way, lower even then the herd in the field. Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, are from a patriarchal point of view, and I have come to believe that the Divine Trinity is Father/Mother/Child.

PS Master Vigil, we are all co-creators in this world. And to think oneself as better than another would be walking the path of Lucifer, who was cast out of Heaven for letting his head get bigger than his heart.

Enhanced Spirit - I was wondering when someone would bring that up. It is true that the bible was written in an entirely different ancient language and has been translated and interpreted into several versions over Christian history. This is exactly why I had asked for a sign from Dr. Khan's own heart and mind. However it seems that whenever I say something he only brushes off my comments as trivial. I hope he, along with some others, sees what you have said and think of their own pride.

Also, kudos to you for acknowledging female as an intregal part of the Divine. There is a balance that must be acknowledged and respected. Thank you.

I've tried to do some research in referance to the trinity. I've tried to find any hidden symbolical patturns within the Bible, however this is merely speculation as I haven't proved it yet.

Well I'm sure that preacher believed what he was saying with all his heart. I think it is just not right to say "we are the chosen." If one does good things for the love of God, that is beautiful. If we help each other because it is the right thing to do, that act should be sufficient unto itself. God must be shaking his virtual head in dismay at all of the religions who use His name in such a way. We can't all be right, could we all be wrong?

On a lighter note, this thread put me in mind of a song...
