Let me put it this way...a country does not need to have their flag in every nation on this earth to have conquered it.
It only needs to have an economy which...if it is any good, has a massive effect on the economy of others.
For example a country could be conquering the world, if their products, their currency, their military, their satellites, their produce and all sorts of other things is so intricately important to other countries, or that other countries are extensively reliant on it, that without it the world will not be able to function as it does.
Does any country come to mind? Which countries economy especially is intricately responsible for the upward or downward spiral of other economies?
I must have just opened up a can of worms...but in my mind its one of two....america or china.

Well the only other option is pinky and the brain taking over the world.
You seriously think one nation is going to manage to wave its flag in every other country by means of military action....WOW.
There is a country that is waving its flag already...its called...made in china....or its called Wall street.
I think you're underestimating the nuclear bomb.

That was an interpretation of a prophetic dream with meanings for that time and no longer has any application today. The head of gold meant Babylon, the breast and arms of silver meant Persia and Media, the belly and thighs of brass meant Greece, the legs of iron meant Rome, the feet part of iron and clay meant the ten European nations and the stone which was cut out without hands, which smote the image is Christianity which exerted power over the whole continent for almost three centuries. But then again, it could be applied to the Islamic power over Europe after 650 until about the Eleventh Century.

Thats nice...of course if i was the devil i wouldnt want people to start changing just because some stupid book said some stuff that was forged by somebody else, and talks about a god that does not exist.
And there will never be peace on this earth. Not as long as the children of god are on the same planet as the children of satan.

Daniel, the man, will never rise again. Those who die will never again have part in anything that's done unders the sun. (Eccl. 9:6)
Those 1,290 days of Daniel 12:11 is a reference to roughly three and a half years, the time the sacrifices had been abolished because of the horrible abomination had been erected on the altar of the Temple until three and half years later when the altar was reconsecrated by the Jews in what became know as Hanukkah. From 148 BCE until 145 BCE.
The number 1,335 days is to mean those who would survive up to the day when they would see the nation of Israel in full fledge, which in fact, the restoration that started in 145 BCE lasted up to 100 BCE, roughly the time when the author or authors of the book of Daniel and Maccabees finished writing them. That was soon after the death of the Hasmonian John Hircanus in 104 BCE, who had been ruling since 134 BCE.
Now, regarding Daniel rising again to receive his inheritance. You must remember that Daniel was extremely tired and weak when he had that vision. Then, at the end of the vision the angel told Daniel to "Go, take your rest, you shall rise for your reward at the end of days," meaning that it won't take too long for all those things to happen. (Dan. 12:13) Then again, everything can happen in a vision or dream; even for skinny caws to swallow fat ones and remain as skinny as before. Got the point?

Heneni, a person is composed of body and the breath of life, which can be called spirit. That combination is called soul. It means, we are living souls. At death, the body goes to the dust and the breath of life goes metaphorically back to God in the sense that it mingles back with the wind. At death, therefore, the soul is undone. There is no soul as an entity apart. So, this life is all that we have, and we better make the best of it. Now, you can go, but see you around.

I read about this before, as the word Spirit in Hebrew is RAUCH that means wind or breath. and soul in hebrew is nepesh that means "Breathing Creature".
The only problem with the bible is that its the other way round, Breathing does not create life, it sustains it.
Gens 1:2 - and the Spirit of God was moving : Wind of God - Wind of the Sun
Sun causes the wind to blow.
So in the morning his spirit was troubled... (Gen 41:8)
In the morning the wind was troubled.

Spirit in Hebrew is "Ruach" and soul is "Nephesh."
For the meaning, you are right on target.
