And I agree with you 101 percent. What's binding upon the Gentiles are the Noahite
laws.

Ben

The noahite laws? I didnt get that memo.....what are the noahite laws? Are they written on my heart? Cause if they are not, im afraid i never recieved my copy.

I completely and utterly disagree with the idea of the Curch being able to change the Bible. The Bible is God's word, and no-one, not even the Pope, who has too much power anyway, should mess with it.

I will not stand for the changing of the scriptures to fit any one particular person, and would start a revolt if it were to be done.

I urge all Christians, whether you're Catholic or Protestant, to make sure that the Bible is not changed in any way.

The words listed, found in our common King James Version are not found in the oldest manuscripts.

So are you then saying, by extension, that the KJV of the bible is wrong, and should not be used by those whowant to practise Christianity.

This is pretty outrageous, seeing as so many people use Bibles today to help them in their everyday lives.

CB :cross:

No i am not saying that. You can still use pretty much any translation, but you must understand none of them is infallible. Only the original hebrew and greek scriptures are. All translations have their problems because you cant just straight translate one language to another language word for word. Some things need to be added or omitted to make sense.

But as for the KJV and it knock-offs some verses were added or omitted blantantly to make their doctrines work--i.e. the trinity and this verse added--

1 John 5:7 in heaven, the Father, the Word and the Holy Ghost: and these
three are one

There are BLATANT mistranslation to make the doctrine of hell work. I ask you this can hades mean all these--hell, gehenna, tatarus, sheol, grave, pit--- which one is correct? Hades (greek) is equivalent to sheol (hebrew) and the both mean the unseen, the imperceptible, or even the "world" of the dead. Its not a place where people are still alive being barbequed and tortured for eternity--even for ever and ever and everlasting has been translated wrong. Its eonian and aonis which means age or ages, not what they have in some translation as world, everlasting or for ever and ever.

Im sorry one more list for you about this hell doctrine

In one verse they would have us believe God is speaking of an "ETERNAL LIFE OF TORTURE IN FIRE," and in another verse using the very same word sheol, they would have us believe all are "DEAD." And they did this SIXTY-FIVE TIMES!
sheol translated
Deut. 32:22 "hell"eternal life of torture in fire

(I believe these are all from the KJV)

Not once in all 65 verses where we find the word sheol do we find a word associated with Christianity's hell.

What do we find in these verses then? Well, for one thing, in these 65 verses we find the words "death," "dead," or some form of dying (as in ‘slain with the sword’), TWENTY-FIVE TIMES. Yet we do not find any one of the ten words used to describe the Christian hell, even ONCE in all 65 verses. Is anyone out there in computerland beginning to use their own God-given brain just once, instead of listening to the "Church Authorities" (Which Church Authorities Jesus Christ upbraided to high heaven)?

Use your commonsense and think. One is condemned by breaking the Law. Jesus comes and expands the transgression into the realm of the spirit. Now, if one even thinks about breaking the Law, he has broken it.

Hello Ben
The whole house of Israel are not all Jewish. There were 10 scattered tribes also. They were not from the tribe of Judah and are not Jews. There is scripture (i think in Ezek) that says they will be reunited as one stick in the hand of the Lord. There are also many scriptures that say these people, the remnent of the scattered tribes and the Jews will be gathered from all nations and brought to Zion. How was this to be done?

Matthew 15 [24] But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

It will 1st be done spiritually and after the actual event will happen. Do you think if Jesus was excepted as an extention of the Jewish religion that these lost sheep would even look into the Jewish bible (old testament). Course not. If your not Jewish why would you bother looking into a Jewish God? You wouldnt. A while after christianty started churches wanted to put further distance between them and the Jews and changed the 4th commandment.

JER.50 [4] In those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the LORD their God.[5] They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces thitherward, saying, Come, and let us join ourselves to the LORD in A PERPETUAL COVENANT that shall not be forgotten.[6] MY PEOPLE HATH BEEN LOST SHEEP: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, THEY HAVE FORGOTTEN THEIR RESTINGPLACE.

All written long before it happened. So ya see things had to be the way they are in order for Jesus to bring back those lost sheep that He came after.

Do you believe in coincedences with billions to one odds?

JER.50 [4] In those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the LORD their God.[5] They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces thitherward, saying, Come, and let us join ourselves to the LORD in A PERPETUAL COVENANT that shall not be forgotten.[6] MY PEOPLE HATH BEEN LOST SHEEP: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, THEY HAVE FORGOTTEN THEIR RESTINGPLACE.

let us join ourselves to the LORD in a perpetual covenant that shall not be forgotten (remember the…)

EXODUS 31[15] Six days may work be done; but in THE SEVENTH IS THE SABBATH of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.[16] Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for aPERPETUAL COVENANT.[17] It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

You can read the bible from cover to cover. You will find only these 2 scriptures with the words "perpetual covenant". What are the odds? The lost sheep Jesus said He came for are not keeping His sabbath. Clear as the nose on my face

God is fair of course. He did leave a door open to the gentiles which truly seek Him.

MATTHEW 15 [24] But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the LOST SHEEP of the house of Israel.

Jesus said He was not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel

JOHN 10 [14] I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. [15] As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. [16] And OTHER SHEEP I HAVE, WHICH ARE NOT OF THIS FOLD: THEM ALSO I MUST BRING, and THEY SHALL HEAR MY VOICE; and there shall be ONE FOLD, and ONE SHEPHERD.

Jesus also said there were “others” not of the fold of the house of Israel. These “others” are the gentiles which hear His voice. Them also He will bring.... Bring where?

ISAIAH 56 [1] Thus saith the Lord, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for MY SALVATION IS NEAR to come, and my righteousness to be revealed. [2] Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil. [3] Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the Lord, speak, saying, The Lord hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree. [4] For thus saith the Lord unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant; [5] Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off. [6] Also THE SONS OF THE STRANGER, that join themselves to the Lord, to serve him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be his servants, every one THAT KEEPETH THE SABBATH from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant; [7] EVEN THEM WILL I BRING TO MY HOLY MOUNTAIN, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people. [8] The Lord God which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, YET WILL I GATHER OTHERS TO HIM, beside those that are gathered unto him.

Jesus BRINGS THEM to His Holy Mountain. The 1000 yr period of rest. Yes, the “others” are the gentiles. As plain as the nose on my face, these “others” are keeping Gods sabbath day. They have taken hold of His covenant. No way around it. So, have “many” come in the name of Jesus and decieved many as the bible said would happen? I reckon so. You must be keeping the sabbath in order to be saved to the kingdom. No doubt about it.

ISAIAH 66 [20] And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the Lord out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to MY HOLY MOUNTAIN Jerusalem, saith the Lord, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the Lord. [21] And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the Lord. [22] For as the NEW HEAVENS AND THE NEW EARTH, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain. [23] And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and FROM ONE SABBATH TO ANOTHER, SHALL ALL FLESH COME TO WORSHIP BEFORE ME, saith the Lord. [24] And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

And they will keep the sabbath once they get there.

The whole House of Israel is all Jewish. Jesus came after Isaiah, who was conteporaneous with God's rejection of the Ten Tribes according to Psalms 78:68,69. Since then, the new House of Israel is called "The House of Jacob called by the name Israel, from the stock, or branch, or root of Judah. Therefore, Jesus' reference to "lost sheep of the House of Israel" was a reference to the Jews in the Land of Israel. When the Ten Tribes got lost, they were taken off the Land of Yisrael. They were not there when Jesus spoke those words.

Yes, the allegory of the "one stick in the hand of the Lord" is in Ezeliel 37:15-22). The two sticks Judah and Israel as one only in the hand of God. One nation only; and
no longer two. The tribal system is over.

The distance of Christianity from the Jewish religion was the work of Paul who wanted no connection with Judaism, and we care less for that.

The prophecy of Jeremiah 50:4-8 is a reference to the return of the Jews from Babylon. Contrict and determined to abide by God's Covenant with them. There is no indication whatsoever to the Ten Tribes but those who joined back to Judah.

I understand Jeremiah 50. It does mention Judah and Israel but as one people; no more as Tribes. All Jews, the new Israel.

Hey Ben
Can i ask you a question

Daniel 3:25
He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

How does this verse read in book you read? This is not a trick question or anything like it. Just curious

Well my friend, although I am sure you will not agree with me, I'll tell you any way. This fragment of Daniel does not figure in the original in Hebrew in the Septuaginta. It's an addition to the Aramaic text of Daniel, translated from the Greek form of the book. It's considered a legendary fragment as a result perhaps of a vision or dream of Nebuchadnezzar. Besides, the person or persons who wrote the book of Daniel during the persecutions of Aniochus Epiphanes inserted many fragments from the time when the Jews were still in Babylon. And the same author at the same time, wrote also I and II Maccabees.
