Who the heck told Hootie that he could do country?

He's the worst thing that happened to country since Billy Ray - but at least Billy on his worst day could at least pretend like he had anything to offer country.

Please, don't let your friends listen to Hootie. :ignore:

I'd almost rather be locked in a round rubber room with the Dixie Chicks.

This is now what they do instead of electro-shock therapy.

Hottie is worse though. Our military could weaponize that crap.

I dunno... someone with a very odd sense of humor that I don't appreciate.

The really irritating thing for me is that it's not all that much different from the early 1990's "Hootie." It's really amazing to me that he's just wearing a cowboy hat and selling exactly the same act.... that lost popularity 10 years ago....

For what it's worth, I played baseball with Billy Ray Cyrus, and used to lift weights with him - back in the day. He was a couple of years younger than me, but I've known him for a LONG time.

He's truly a very nice guy - but he's dumber than a box of rocks.

Do you know him from the area where he lived and went to high school or otherwise? I know he comes home quite often and always pays a visit to his old high school.............I would inquire where you live, but know you probably don't want it out on the forum so................

Yes. He grew up in Flatwoods, KY. It's across the river from Ironton, OH (I see that you are from OH). If you want to know where I'm from, PM me, and I'll tell you.
