Is Bush generalizing here? I think the major question is whether or not to treat countries that fund terrorism (Iran, Syria, Hamas) with the same diplomatic respect as countries like France, Russia, Britain, etc. (for example, Pelosi's trip to Iran/Syria and Carter's trip to Palestine)

To me, it seems like Obama is dodging the issue. He doesn't actually respond to the argument, instead accusing Bush of being flippant. Obviously, Bush isn't just talking about terrorists groups. He's talking about Iran, which is currently flooding money and weapons into southern Iraq.

Iran is not funding terrorism. They are just securing some areas in Iraq to not be next on the list after Iraq. On the other hand, the US had to cooperate with Iran in Iraq because if they didn't do so, their task would have been much more difficult than it's now. The US just don't want to tell it's people about their cooperation with Iran in Iraq. They don't necassarly talk with their idiot president "ahmedi najad" but they do talk with Iran in general.

Regarding Syria, the US call them so just because they are an enemy to Israel.

Hamas is just defending itself from Israel.

Taliban is not controlling anybody. People love them because of their ethics and honesty.

Seriously guys, do you really believe that any enemy to the US is a terrorist?

Nations always have fought with each other in the past, and in many times, they has a deep respect for each other, but nowadays, governments like the US is taking advantage of a large portion of their simple citizens and make them believe that they are fighting plain evil and it's something about a plain white and black issue.

Believe me guys, the US now is thinking what to do with Pakistan. Iran might be a threat in the future, but Pakistan ALREADY have nuclear power and if an islamic government took over, lol, i can't imagine what might happen to the american public. They will certainly panic. :D

when are you people going to wake up and face reality???

which country dropped atomic weapons?
which country uses depelted uranium on the battle field?
which country has destroyed democratic elections repeatedly?
which country thinks it has to the right to instill "democracy" with bombs, missles, and occupation?
which country has murdered its own people 3 times now, and then turns around and blames it on others to justify war?
which country has killed more innocents the world over since it's beginnings? we are talking well over 100 million.

find the answer to these questions and you have found the real terrorists of the world. then you can ask yourself, why you support such murders and be ashamed of yourself for not paying attention. furthermore, there is no difference between obama, clinton, mccain, or bush. they all sing the same ole song at aipac meetings and work for the same goals, and these goals do not in any way benifit you, me, or the rest of the hard working humans of the world.
