Chest pains and panic attacks - it's all good, honest!

Well all these months later and I went to the docs for something none related and asked if they had my results yet... Turns out my doc neglected to inform me that there's nothing wrong with me apparently and they've known for months... Nice huh?
So I'm still left with this really nagging pain and a slightly growing reliance on Co-codamol and am none the wiser.

Oh well at least I know who to sue if it turns out to be something fatal lol.

darkpenguin given what you now know you could probably treat the pain as being somewhat psychosomatic in origin. The pain may have a purely physical root but much of the discomfort is likely to be emphasised by your anxiety about it. Even the painkillers may work best as a placebo in such a case.

Have you tried counselling and some system of relaxing mental conditioning?

Is there any heart palpitations along with the pain? I've had heart palpitations which also left my chest in pain and caused panic attacks. The doctors wouldn't help, so I looked up natural remedies. Grapes are a natural remedy for heart palpitations. I would eat them and my pain and palpitations would go away for a while. Although it was only temporary relief. The only thing that helped permanently was to work out. Glad to hear your panic attacks went away. Hope you resolve this chest pain issue.

I like logic.
See, this is what bugs me. Doctors cannot figure out what's wrong with you and naturally, it's psychological. Sure, some of it may be, but it might not. Continue to get tests done and know for sure. It'll definitely help with the mental stuff knowing that you're not going to die. I don't have that luxury anymore as I'm too sick to even work to pay for insurance. Doctors will tell you you're fine, but if you know that it's something more, have it checked until you can believe with good reason that there's nothing wrong.
