All I can say is, as much as they crapped on Jack Bauer last night, he doesn't owe the country or anyone else anything at all, whatsoever.
Leave him to rot in a Chinese jail for two years; ransom him out only because some terrorist demanded him in return for ratting out another, and deliver him to (almost) certain death. Made me ashamed to think that there really are folks who would go that route.
I think it was Franklin who said "Those who would trade freedom for security deserve neither."

My dad is SO addicted to 24. I rented him season 5 the other day and he stayed up til 12 one night watching it XD. He's watching it along with the new season.

So far season 5 was the worst, and every other season was better than the previous. I hope that this will not be a trend.
