Your Favorite TV Show

Stargate... so many memories... thrown so many sick days to just drink coffee and watch that show. It's sad, but it's almost spiritual for me.
That's how I feel about it. I love that show. I have five seasons of it on DVD, and I watch in out in the garage while I'm working. Slows me down, but it's worth it. :)

It's strange but I sometimes just like it simply for the locations they visit. There's something pleasing about the pine forest and P90 combination.

There is not too many shows that are good today and the ones that I used to watch are a bit outdated. There is one show that I will admire for the rest of my life. A show that can never be tampered with or outdated. That one can find referential wonder as they grow more knowledgable and still be able to laugh and have a good time with.

This show was very unique in that each episode was an unprecedented two hours and ran for more than 10 years. Nothing in the years of my T.V. viewing has anything ever come close to keeping the same consistency, the same integrity and upholding the same quality show after show. A show that was so natural, so intuitive, so necessary that one has to marvel why it wasn’t invented and broadcast sooner. No show has ever collected and encouraged such a cult following, one that even exists past it’s last seasons. I am of course affectionally referring to….

Mystery Science Theater 3000.

I have a few.
Everybody loves Raymond
Dr Who
Torchwood
Ashes to ashes

Oh how I miss Stargate and Star trek.

Magic Man

Reaper of Conversation
I have to say "The Shield" is my favorite. It's gotten a little soap-opera-ish over the years, but it still gives me some surprises and keeps me interested.

Scrubs is always great, too.

The L Word, of course.

(But I have some issues with the idea of depicting all lesbians as telegenic)

It's a good show, but I don't like it because I just hate Vic.

I can understand that, but that's one thing I like about it. As repulsive as he can be, I still find myself rooting for him. I still feel for him when things go badly for him. I see him as the classic flawed hero...OK very, very flawed hero.

Favorite of all time?
That's a tossup between The Twilight Zone, The Simpsons and Monty Python's The Flying Circus.

New ones are harder. I don't like many of the sows on.
I would say the new Battlestar Galactica is ok. Maybe House because I like anything that is even remotely like Sherlock Holmes.

I'm back on "Hotel Babylon." We watched a couple episodes, but never followed up. Now we're watching the first season and looking forward to season two.

Let's add "Invader Zim" to my list. :D That is a funny show. :D
The first time I saw that show, I went online and ordered the whole series. I especially love GIR.

Also the selection of soft drinks at Krazy Taco: "New Poop, Classic Poop, Diet Poop, Cherry Poop, and Salty Lemonade."

I would say "Monty Pythons flying Circus" after that " Dr. Who" (the old version) there is nothing new I really watch because television truly disturbs me in a lot of ways, I usually feel like someone is opening my skull and urinating/defecating (depends on the show) on my brain for the most part. I spend most of my time spending quality time with my wife whether it is to the movies, dinner, or just a nice walk in the country or town enjoying the sights or something else, it doesn't matter- I guess I just like living life.
