Hello all, Erika Lee here.

I am 24 , married with a 3 year old daughter.

I grew up Southern Baptist, was Pagan for about 2 years and am now a full Atheist. I don't like to use any of those labels really, because they all have a bad connotation. How many times has someone yelled "Satan Worshipper!" and was referring to a Pagan or an Atheist. Aggravates me.

Anyway, I am a future Anthropologist of Religion, as soon as I can afford to go to school. In the meantime I do my own studying so I feel I'm atleast working in some way towards my goal. Otherwise I'd go nuts.

I feel I am a very openminded person and I can speak from a few points of view. I have a good working understanding of Christianity as I was raised that way and my grandfather is a Preacher. I also have a good basic understanding of Paganism. And I would like to pretend I know a little about Taoism - it's not that easy to understand.

I believe that Religion is as the basis of all Civilization throughout History and in some cases the beginning of Civilizations as well. Isn't that cool?!

Anyway, I hope to learn a lot and share ideas with other people as well.

Hi Erika! I know what you mean about labels, none of them seem to exactly fit me, and the ones that seem the closest to fitting me (pagan) have, like you say, negative connotations attached to them. Good luck in your quest of your goal! :)

Nice to meet you, you know what I think. Don't worry about what others think, just be your self and the universe of love will grow from your goodness! "Anthropologist of Religion" <- that would be neat -> Indiana Jane tracks around the world to bring us the real truth of our religious origin... hehehe <- laughing at my comment not at the great future you are planning for your self!
