Sure some of the members may not practice Christmas but in the spirit of goodwill toward all (wo)men Merry Christmas.

Same to you.

Personally, I do not commemorate anything. (But then, I am something of a recluse.) Every moment is a possibility for celebration if we are awake.

Our tree is up. Our lights are up. We are assembling the gifts to be given for all our relatives. And yesterday we all sat down to bits of the movie "Miracle on 34th Street" drinking hot cocoa after playing in the snow outside.

It's not just beginning to look a lot like Christmas.......as far as we're concerned, Christmas is already here at our house.

Merry Christmas everyone!!

Peace,
Mystic

"I'm not pagan, but thank you". I wish I could remember where this quote is from.

Doesn't quite beat a couple of beers and a barbecue on the deck watching the sun set slowly over the horizon, and kicking around a ball till it finally becomes too hard to see at around 9:30 :p

*sigh*

I love NZ christmas time, and the weeks leading up to it, watching pohutukawas come into full bloom!

I had a couple of Christmases down in southern Florida where we celebrated it this way. New Year's Eve was awesome in Key West! I remember I hung out a little bit with this guy Manny (whoever has seen MTV's Jack*** the series and the movie - you'd probably remember him). It was really cool!

I always wondered if Santa would show up in a tank top for the warmer climates. I couldn't imagine him bundled up Down Under. :D

Peace,
