both to be honest. i won't date people who i am not physically attracted to, and i will not date people who have no personality or low intellect.
Just wondering. Do they have to have either a personality or high intellect or both?

i'm not saying uber high intellect, but certainly educated, and also a decent personality.

i've dated people in the past who are not very highly educated, or have had no personality about them, and i have ended the relationship very quickly because i don't like either of those traits in a partner.

Personality/character are the most important things to me, ultimately.

Certainly looks matter, and there has to be physical attraction, but looks are just the icing on the cake, not the stuff that holds the relationship together. The most beautiful man I've ever known was not beautiful to me because of his looks....he was beautiful because of his character and personality. Initially, I wasn't physically attracted to him at all.

On the flip side, I've been with some very good-looking men....who all turned out to be jerks. :banghead3

What things did you find about his personality beautiful?

Hmmm....where to start. Well, he was kind, playful, thoughtful, passionate, romantic, generous----just to name a few of his traits. He simply had a heart of gold. He was truly a rare specimen of a man.
