Why did God wants us to beware from Dogs?

Philippians 3:1-3



1Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.

2Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision. 3For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

I hope I'm not upsetting anyone by being a non-Christian and posting in this thread, but I tried the NIV, and the translation was a bit different.

I'm guessing that it's actually a warning about people who do evil and not about actual doggies. (Well, I hope it is.)

You are correct it's talking about humans that are dogs in character, no doglovers! don't get offended!:)
I mean all the dogs nasty habits that you don't want to see, or clean up.:)

Very simple: associating with the gentile non-christians could easily lead the newly converted Christians back to their former ways.

Now, I have a question...where are you going with the thread?
