Question To Catholics: Why does Catholicism function Polythiesticly

Hi everyone, I was just wondering why even though Catholicism is fundamentally Monothiesic in that it only believes in the existance of One Almighty God, it functions Polytheisticly in that you can pray to the angels and the saints among other people like Jesus, and also through some of its...

    Religious/Political Hip-Hop

I have been trying to branch out a little more in my choice of music, and was just wondering if there is any GOOD political/religious Hip-Hop because I can't find any good Christian Rappers, although there are several really good Muslim Rappers - Lowkey (UK), Logic (UK), Wissam and Immortal...

The Trinity makes no sense to me. Please Explain....

Why would God Pray to himself? If Jesus was God why would he have the need to pray to himself, who he would then supposedly call Father? I don't understand that concept... ??? How can the spirit be it's own 'person' in it's own right and separate to God and Jesus, yet remain part of the Trinity?

Why do Catholics belive that Christ is present during Holy Communion?

Ok, what does that mean, what I mean by that is how do Catholic/Orthodox Christians partake in the same Eucharist if the 12 Apostles are dead? Is it a spiritual connection?

Why do people go to Church?

Most people will tell you what they believe as a fellow student or something I suppose, but they lie whenever it comes to someone in authority, but that is because most of them will just get angry without trying to understand your point of view or without trying to help you understand what they...

God Loves Everyone.. Unless You're Different Than Me

Wow. I don't think that is strictly true, but then I try and see everyone as either family in mutual understanding of faith or in Adam and Eve, but that's just my opinion. I don't see why Jesus would discriminate people over their sexual orientation, their actions maybe because what you think is...

Why do people go to Church?

To me that doesn't seem very spiritual, more like a social event. That's why most people at my school who attend mass outside of school go

Why do people go to Church?

Well most of my friends are confused with their own religious beliefs, yet mostly can't be bothered to try and think for themselves as to what they think on things, and the only friends who are certain of their religion are the atheists, so by going to mass, I'm not really supporting anyone. In...

The Trinity makes no sense to me. Please Explain....

Maybe, but you mix the colours to make completely new colours, which are only that colour and not any other despite being created by one of the basic colours... I think I get what you were trying to say, but I'm not sure it works the same way with the Trinity though...

Why do Catholics belive that Christ is present during Holy Communion?

I know that in the Bible we have today, Jesus says that we should 'Do this in memory of Me' during the last supper when talking about breaking bread and he wine which Christians believe became his body and blood. I get that, but why do you think that when you go through the whole action of the...
