Why don't Christians witness for Jesus and their God?

Hi, I did look at the verses and most of them do not specifically say Jesus said them. If it doesn't say he said them or even list his name in the verse, aren't we making assumptions then? Additionally, there are 3 different names/words for English "Jesus". iEsoun, iEsous and iEsou People...

Why don't Christians witness for Jesus and their God?

Does it actually say Jesus was speaking in those verses or are we adding words where they don't exist? One of the things that God really opened my eyes on is the true (hidden) meaning of the word "kai" translated to "and" in English. "And" is much more than we realize as it's actually an "ai"...

Do people really find God in life?

I think "God" reveals himself/herself/itself to each person in a unique way. Beside being all created and non-created things, God is YOUR life that makes your body move each day. It/he/she is within you and your body. The reason we can't see God is because God IS us.

    Ever Notice

One should reconsider reading the "reinterpretation" of the Bible in "A Course in Miracles". It sure speaks to me in the most loving way and it (supposedly) reinterprets much of the Bible. It says the Bible is the Ego's (fallen man's) attempt to understand God. www.stobblehouse.com/text/ACIM.pdf

Old Earth vs Young Earth Debate

Gen 1:14 doesn't even mention the Sun. It mentions "luminary (bright) bodies" (the stars). The sun doesn't appear until Gen 15:12.

That could be. "You" has been cursed in Gen 3:14.

Old Earth vs Young Earth Debate

I am a believer in scripture very literally and at the same time believe the Earth is the age that science tells us. So many readers of the OT (and New) have erroneously attempted to understand the words according to our present reality (of space and time) we now "see" outwardly. If one...

All things we do are of faith?

Regarding scripture. In my opinion, if a person really is seeking truth and they studied the original words and not the translated ones (English translations), they will come to an amazing revelation that there is a powerful divine force of truth behind them. They reason people so easily...

All things we do are of faith?

Scripture says that the "spirit" (God) is that energy source behind all matter, even the wind. For example, "pneuma" (force behind wind/breath and wind/breath) is what causes the wind (air) to move. John 3:8 According to John 3:8 (below), every "ho" is generated out of "pneumatos" which I...

    Why fire?

True (eternal, non-physical side of) fire = life. IMHO it is the very essence of life. What would we be without the sun?

All things we do are of faith?

Do you think that humans have a non-physical or "energy" side to their being? Does matter/particles (the body/brain/heart, etc.) also have a wave (energy/life) side as well?

All things we do are of faith?

Does there exist any knowledge that can't be proven?

All things we do are of faith?

I like what you wrote about faith growing or shrinking as we use it. That would be a parallel to a muscle in the body. I can't help but think that all people know God exists whether they admit it outwardly or not. I suspect a person's heart says "either God is everything outside me (seen and...
