    Depictions of Lilith

You are welcome, as it is not mine. They say that much like within some rogue Titan wombs (:flirt:) so did Lilith (whatever the back story) leave Eden and go to the wastelands and liminal places of creation to mate (with what I can only understand to be the personifications of elemental forces)...

    Depictions of Lilith

Indeed. I think of her as the 'mother of spirits' and that her essence lies in her position as the queen mother of 'non-dualistic' propagation of spirit entities. She holds the secrets to the nature of the consciousness of her children and its relation to our own.

"Farmhand busted for 'having sex with miniature donkey named Doodle'. . .

A Vice magazine documentary concerning a long standing tradition of Donkey ******* on the coast of northern Columbia. Not in any way "Safe for Work". Not in any way an advocate post for Donkey *******. Although this thread has gotten way silly, it does make me think about word "Husbandry".

    2012 = 2045?

Yup. TIME TO GETS A NEW CALENDAR! Only they felt they had to carve them out of rock for some reason. That's why they went so long between new ones, otherwise it'd be a total pain in the ***.

    Freemasonry

That is not exactly correct. But this is neither here nor there. The influence of many things sits upon Gardner's Wicca, including Theosophy, Crowley, Nudism, an obsession with Indonesian knife folklore, old grimoires like the Key of Solomon, and maybe just maybe a smidge of old East Anglian...

What "Different" holidays do you celebrate?

What form do those celebrations take Q? I usually make a big deal out of Imbolc. What can I say? I love Brigid! Also I think it is a good way to get roused out of the winter slumber.

    Freemasonry

    The Necronomicon by Simon

Nevertheless there is a internet community of people who 'walk the gates'. Much as there is a Roman Catholic religion.

    The Necronomicon by Simon

Anything can 'work'. If you want to read an interesting yarn check out Simon's book on the origins of the Necronomicon and the cultural environment of the late-60's NYC occult scene. He claims he stole it from a group of shady Eastern Orthodox monks involved in a book theft ring and had no idea...

    Magical Names

While not invalidating your feelings in the matter Q, I would like to offer a counterpoint. Whatever our feelings about our given names and those who gave them to us, they are our names. Just as whatever our feelings about our ancestors are, they are ours and we have little control of that. In...

    Magical Names

They allow for different layers of recognition. In my first initiation I actually chose two names, and one was kept secret and only is used in ceremony. I speak that secret name maybe a few times a year and so whenever I do it is has a strong personal resonance. It is in a context of 'hey...

Milky Way Mythology and Creation Story

This is all very interesting but where are the actual myths you are referencing, and how were they collected? Its an easy thing to speak vaguely about ancient myths and principles and correlate them to whatever happens to make your neurons fire in that special happy way. But when I deeply...
