  • Sorry, I had too many characters in this post and accidentally put it all down backwards. Please go back 3 posts prior to this to read from the beginning.
Why is it that when you're in the Temple doing endowments there are so many things that resemble and in fact look "borrowed" from Freemasonry. Freemasonry has been around long before the Restoration of the Gospel and Joseph Smith Jr., Hyrum Smith and their father were all Freemasons.

Sorry for the long post and the many questions herein. Thanks for any insight and comments. Please be curteous and give your personal opinion and or references reguarding this post. i am not looking to be "reconverted" simply trying to gain a greater understanding of the Church and the history thereof. Thanks.
Why in my 30 years of growing up in the LDS faith and having served a fulltime mission have I never heard anything on the subject of Joseph Smith Jr. and Polyandry?

Why, when the BoM having been translated by the power of the Holy Ghost, has had so many revisions and in particular the word White has been changed to Pure only after "Black" people were able to act actively on having the Priesthood?

Why is there so much suppressed information within the church if the church is true in it's entirety, according to prophets of the church? Shouldn't church doctrine be taught in it's entirety rather than teaching some and not all?
    LDS faith, Polyandry, Suppressed information.

Just a little background, briefly. I was raised LDS, served a full 2 year mission, Was previously married in the LDS temple, am currently married (by the state) and have 2 children from my previous marriage, one through marriage and another with my current wife. I have been inactive in the LDS church for almost 7 years now. My wife and I have talked many times about going back to church and as a result of that I have been trying to reaffirm my testimony. By doing so I have subjected myself to being an "Investigator". My findings have somewhat baffled me and stirred my religious convictions quite profoundly. Which leads me to my
    question(s).
