    Almost time to go

CX, I’ll miss you. Thanks for stopping by to wish me well. Thanks, Mystic! I appreciate that your saying so. Thanks michel. Who knows what the future holds. Maybe I’ll drop in sometime just to say “Hi.” Thanks a bunch. You Buddhists rock!

Hmph! I've seen cats eat moths before! :D

    Meow!

No, you don't know me, although our paths crossed briefly when I first started posting, and I've heard a couple of people mention you. (Don't worry, they said some very nice things about you. :D ) Anyway, I'm just getting ready to leave myself. I don't know yet if I'll be coming back or not...

    Natural Remedies for Depression

jonny, some of the "natural" remedies for various things have been proven to be more dangerous than "medicines." Get on the web and check it out. You'll see what I mean.

    Church Or No Church?

I know what you mean. When my son was about 14, going to church became a battle every week. I finally decided that my relationship with him was more important than making him go when he didn't want to be there. He ultimately stopped going all together, but I didn't drive a wedge in between us...

    Almost time to go

At this point, I’m not really sure. I really love this place. It’s going to be hard to stay away, but you know how it is with addictions. Sometimes “cold turkey” is the only way. I love you Baha'is. You're one cool bunch, and you, Booko, are the coolest! Thanks a million. If I come back, it...

    Church Or No Church?

I'm glad to see somebody voicing the opposite point of view. I, too, believe that church attendance is important, and for pretty much the same reasons you do. I don't go to church to socialize. I go to worship, to receive the Sacrament (i.e. Eucharist, the Lord's Supper), and to learn things...

    Controlling the RF Addiction

For me, the problem is that I can't just drop by now and then. You get in on the middle of a long thread and what you have to say in a single post just doesn't seem worth the bother. I either have to be involved or not.

    Questions bout LDS for Squirt

Since Geoff bailed out of this discussion (which he, in fact, initiated) a long time ago, and since I’m planning on leaving the forum soon, I wanted to respond to the remainder of this article he asked me to address before I go. As previously, I am putting the text of his article in red type and...

    Giving people Books of Mormon

I've only given them to people who have actually asked for them. I'm always happy to foot the small cost to buy and ship one, but I don't think I could ever just give one to someone without knowing up front that they were interested in reading it.

    Almost time to go

I'm afraid it's almost time for me to say my goodbyes. I have become so addicted to RF that I am hardly able to tear myself away from my computer long enough to throw a few clothes in the washer or balance my checkbook. I'll hang around for a few days. There are a couple of threads I want to...

    Christianity... An issue,

I realize that this is what you believe, but I disagree. I believe that the Jesus Christ of the New Testament was, in fact, Jehovah of the Old Testament. If I'm right -- and it's simply your opinion against mine -- then Moses did accept Christ.

So...just what is your reason and purpose for existence?

I exist that I might have joy and that I might fulfill the measure of my creation, which is to obtain eternal life in God's presence and become all He has given me the potential to become.
