which is easier? theism or atheism?

    I would say agnosticism

How do you be a Christian when the Bible is so faulty?

I don't know how you can imply this, in a patronising manner as well? My beliefs don't bear any reflection on my level of education.

How do you be a Christian when the Bible is so faulty?

I have come to think that the bible (and all sacred texts) are inspired works from God written by man. So there are some gems of truth distorted by the bias and agendas of the humans writing them.

    My personal gnostic saviour

This is an interesting journey I’ve found myself on. I became close to the goddess Diana a year ago and have practiced paganism/witchcraft under her, but after some trouble from archons and many prayers later she has been a voice of reason leading me to Gnosticism and the light inside, and even...

If the supernatural claims of your religion were refuted, would you still adhere to the ethics?

Yes, I am a pagan, that's why I chose it. The ethics are about looking after the earth, animals, and fellow human beings. It's basic decency. Finding out the supernatural is not real would not change anything for me. I enjoy feeling connected to nature. Nature is what we are, after all.

    Hand over the money, lol.

How Comfortable Are You Living With Uncertainty?

As I get older I'm learning to live with it more. Agonising about uncertainty seems to make me more uncomfortable than uncertainty itself.

Any twins here or know of any?

Maybe just let the parents decide, they usually know what's best. Seems a bit strange to make an entire policy around it. I had twins as friends once and they were inseparable. Sisters, best friends, colleagues, etc. They did everything together and they loved it. I feel like the very identity...

    What, exactly, is the soul?

I don't know, but in many pagan and shamanic traditions it's believed there are multiple souls.

A thought I had about polytheism and Paganism.

The rise and fall of civilisations is just something that happens. Give it another millennia or two and everyone will be asking "Christianity what?" Christianity is still a fairly new religion. It will have its time.

    Henotheism and Tutelary

I am interested in this too. I thought they were but I read something a while ago which said they're not alike at all.

What Keeps You on the Straight and Narrow?

For me I think it comes down to empathy. I'm very empathic and I feel the results of my actions in others. If I make someone upset or angry I will feel that and it's obviously not very pleasant, so it benefits both others and myself if I am generally benevolent.

    God or Gods?

I was raised believing in only one God (you can probably guess which one). But after a while I thought about it and it seemed unlikely. There is never just one of any species in nature, for example there is not just one human or just one dog or just one whale. Everything is diverse. And so I...

    questions about christianity and hinduism

I bought this book and it was the best thing I ever did. All the sayings of Jesus which turn out to be completely non-religious and very much compatible with other faiths like Hinduism...

    Female sexual maturity

We live really long in this era but previously you'd be lucky if you lived until thirty. Because of that girls didn't have the choice to wait until their mid twenties to have children. Whilst I would say mental-emotional maturity does arrive in the mid-twenties, sexual maturity arrives whenever...
