    I won't be too sure about that. I am not sure how much "original thinking" they actually had, rather than just having the right tools to advance someone else's idea. Science is often a cumulative effort.

    Without math, we would have never made it out of the stone age. All these computers we are using. . . forget it they don't exist. Science doesn't exist without math. There is no modern medicine without math. There are no farms, no buildings, no governments, etc. . . We don't survive without math.

    Well if you would read the meta-study, you'd see that IQ is only used as a measure of intelligence in very few of the studies.
