    What allegations are those? As for there being contemporary evidence for Muhammad: what specifically? The hadiths do not qualify, and neither do people far removed from Arabia who only had word of mouth that Muhammad was real. People like Sophronious of Jerusalem specifically.

    My question for the OP is if they think it would somehow devalue the Quran if it did copy from the Bible? Somehow make it less true? Doesn't the Quran claim the Bible is the divine revelation of Allah too? All religious traditions borrow. Borrowing and exchanging ideas is as human as it gets.
