Do people on RF believe they are more intelligent than everyone else?

Surely mentioning boobs is a surefire way to lower the IQ of every male in the room. Whilst getting them to move, if only a little bit can reduce us to back to infantile screams equating to "I need milk"

Do people on RF believe they are more intelligent than everyone else?

Interesting topic. Howard Gardner's model of intelligence is decent. (lol) Linguistic Intelligence. Logical-mathematical intelligence. Musical Intelligence. Spatial Intelligence. Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence. Naturalist Intelligence. Interpersonal Intelligence. Intrapersonal Intelligence...

    Atheism: The Great Nothing!

God existing is not the same as the belief in God existing. Atheism exists due to the duality of human thinking, theism exists, therefore atheism exists.

    Atheism: The Great Nothing!

creation - the event that occurred at the beginning of something; WordNet Search - 3.0 creation need not occur by intelligence. It's a sticker point, so I'll weigh in that the Macquarie dictionary and the Collins dictionary both state the creation is especially a product of human intelligence...

    Atheism: The Great Nothing!

Just how does one debate this subject effectively, it's obvious that the following doesn't work. I want proof. ____ is proof. That's not proof. or... I want proof. ____ is evidence. That's neither proof nor evidence. or... I want proof. Indeed, but truly you need faith more than proof to...

    Atheism: The Great Nothing!

You don't have to tell anyone else, just tell Him, in the privacy of your home - that's what He requires you to do. "Matthew 6:6. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. "

    Atheism: The Great Nothing!

a 50 metre high tree grows from one seed. The superior from the inferior. Many things start out simple and become more complex over time - a persons finances, a novel begins simply as an idea in the authors mind and progresses to Harry Potter, A child begins unable to fend for itself or speak...

I Can Not Respect A God who Allows Children to Suffer

Seems to me that once we ate the apple we became more Godlike and hence suffer the consequences of being more on our own - with more significant benefits too. Like the child who lives at their parents home all their life, they are bound by their parents house rules and limited in their...

    Atheism: The Great Nothing!

A dog shows reasoning, tipping over it's food bowl and then moving the bowl to get to some bits that it couldn't get to before. It has memory, for it does the same thing the next day. A dogs sense of smell is superior to ours and this gives it a part of its brain that is superior to humanities...

"Extended Adolescence" or "Emerging Adulthood" - a positive or negative trend?

Ok Kathryn, I thought I was on topic or at least close to it with the sex discussion, I'll leave that be. I'm glad you see the logic behind the argument of the issue being as much the parents as the 20+somethings. Seems to me that the root issue is education of parenting.
